Vortex PS100 Passenger Seat

I love this adapter because it can be used for various small cameras. the fact that I have bought two units is enough testimonial. However, I have to order in addition the 52mm Front Plate because the default filter thread of 37mm is too small for many cameras. I hope you can offer the 52mm front plate option in addition to the 37mm. Useful features are that the front plate has thread on BOTH sides which allows me to add rings on either or both sides to shield off stray light. The horizontal plate has three grooves which makes is easy to fit cameras with off centre tripod mounts. Shutter release can also be attached.

Easily adjustable for most small cameras when attaching to a scope. Can be adjusted for offset lenses and should work with a large number of point and shoot cameras. Well built and machined.

Never got to use because it did not come with the adapter to connect to the eye piece of spotting scope. It should have been mentioned from the get go that it will cost another $160 for that necessary part to connect to vortex razor spotting scope to make it work. Useless

These adapters can never fit quite right, but it is for those special situations where you need to use a special filter or add something extra on to your camera for affect. I like it but not for everyday use.

If you've got a point-&-shoot without lens threads, then this is what you need to complete your Vortex digiscoping setup. Its well made, simple to set-up, and easy to collapse down for packing into a small space. Overall this item gets 5 stars for the following reasons 1-its well-made. 2-The fit to the Vortex system is firm.3- It’s a straight forward easy to use attachment. 4- the Camera goes on without problems and the attachment is adjustable. Worth the price.
