Good, with some explanations
Don’t expect this to taste “just like” chocolate milk. There are definitely trade-offs with this. The pro’s: no artificial sweeteners or flavors, simple ingredients, no fillers or additives. The taste isn’t amazing but it’s drinkable. But in exchange, the con’s are that it’s not very sweet and not a very strong chocolate flavor. I added a little extra sugar and some natural cocoa mix (MUD/WTR cocoa) it was significantly better. I like that this is a little sweet and has a little flavor but I wanted more. But I’m glad that I could have it as-is or add some extra. I’d much rather have a simpler product I can customize instead of one that has too much.

Worst tasting shake EVER
This is the worst tasting product I have had. I have been using Vega for years now and love it, DO NOT BUY THIS ONE. Worst taste ever!!!

Better in a smoothie than on its own.
On its own in water, it’s kind of dusty and underflavored but also filling and creamy. In a smoothie with milk or milk substitute, it is far tastier.

Almost expired
Disappointed that I received a very old product. Ordered and received in April 2026. Manufacture date shows as July 2024, expires July 2026. I don't go through protein powder super quick so I am annoyed to be sent such an old product.
