Superb 2+ player game. Takes a few goes to get the flow of it, but it doesn't half get vicious after a while! :D

I really love this game it plays similar to Yathzee. It also features exclusive cards to this box,base set,Halloween expansion,baby gigasaur and the Power Up expansion. This is a quick to learn game I think alot of people will love.

Very simple to understand, has good complexity if you care, very dependent on luck, very easy to learn and teach to people. Has several other expansions that can be added to it. The box is large enough to fit even more content in it. Would recommend, excellent as a gift. You win by either destroying all others monsters 2-6 players, or getting 20 points first. Each monster has unique cards that fundamentally changes how you play as them, these are gained by rolling 3 health dies, this gives an advantage to more defensive players, as without these cards the game favours playing ultra aggressive and is rather mundane and boring. You roll up to three times per turn. Something of an engine builder gamer too, where to can really create a unique strategy based on circumstance. Highley recommend.

King of Tokyo is such a good and easy to pick up game. And this monster box not only includes two of the big expansions, as well as space for all four monster expansions and the mini wickedness expansion. If you're going to go for this game, go big. I have had so much fun playing with and without the expansions. A great party game for both serious and casual gamers.

Great game! However we ordered this version on the understanding that the materials were alloy steel as described in the product detail. However all the parts appear to be cardboard I would report via the “report a problem” link but it doesn’t work Have ordered a second one and return the 1st but was exactly the same as the the 1st Can someone please explain this discrepancy

King of Tokyo base game is easy enough for family with kids 8+, but with enough strategy to keep adults brains fully engaged. Add the game features of Costume Cards and Power Up Evolution Cards, separately or together, and King of Tokyo goes from cute and silly to brutal and demanding! Set up time is just a few minutes. The rules can be a little tricky for the first game or two, then become second nature. My girlfriend and I are in our sixties, and this game makes us feel like kids! Crazy fun for three to six players, but two can have a blast when each player has two monsters. I love: *The price! *Spacious box with molded insert that stores everything neatly. *The artwork. *The clever and useful dice rolling tray. *The mix-and-match game mechanics. *Extra room in box if you buy Monster Pack expansions (which I'm sure I will). *Monster packs (purchased separately) that add new game mechanics and a new monster in every pack.
