Bought these for God Nieces. I can tell tell love it real bad but now it's 2025 I'll buy again when my daughter reaches the age play with them but what I can do is buy and put down till she the age.

I bought her because I was in love with her face. I switched her body with an articulated Ali body. I also repainted her lips and made some marks and freckles in the body. I cut her hair because I damaged her bangs when cutting it, so I needed to reroot them using her hair. I loved the final result! She is my favourite Barbie!

Mattel's Barbie #199 arrived yesterday. She is as tall as classic Ken, slender, with Polynesian features in a lovely warm tan colour. She has large dark eyes, a broad nose with delicate nostrils, high cheekbones and a full mouth. She has black hair that is mainly straight with a bit of curl at its lower third section. She wears a silky polyester easy on-off dress in lilac/white gingham, with a cute ruched cut-away middle, showing a bit of midriff. She has a removable Scrunchi in hot pink on her wrist and hot pink high-heeled sandals in a soft plastic for easy fitting. Her arms and legs move back and forth and in and out and her head has a slight tip-tilt mechanism for better posing. We have named her Nova and she will be joining our faun family of Barbie dolls. We imagine Nova to be the 9th daughter of a 9th son in her village. That makes her a healer, taking care of the health and wellbeing of her community with ancient tried-and-tested medicines derived from the vast woodland her people inhabit. Like our other fauns, Nova will be clad with the softest leather and woolly-type fabrics we will source from Amazon to create a true woodland look that is both rustic and natural, but also practical. We can't wait to introduce her to the other fauns!
