A: No. I have not noticed a difference with lead breaking. Some of these pencils use 0.7 lead and some are 0.5 lead. The 0.7 break less of course. Also, keeping the writing tip small helps.

**Q: How to refill it as it has no opening?**
A: Hi, you can remove the eraser refills on the pencil cap, and drop the lead into the pencil cylinder. We recommend that you put into 1-2 pcs refills at a time.
