It Works
This lady tried solar powered chirpers and scissor traps. Neither worked. I tried one of these under a fresh hill. It was definitely in a region where multiple hills had emerged this spring. But...to no avail. Up came another hill...much larger, about 10 feet away. This one, though, was clearly a main thoroughfare. The tunnel went three ways and was bigger. I slid the gasser as far in as I could. We haven't had any activity since. It is so relieving. Now if only I could gas all the weeds that pop up every 5 seconds.

It's not scary.
At first I was s little spooked because I'm an incomplete quadriplegic and was worried that I wouldn't be able to seal it up and g et away quickly enough. But honestly, after watching a couple how to videos on YouTube, its easy. And not scary. It gave even my slow self plenty of time to get it in the rat hole and seal it up.Just make sure that you have a good shovel of dirt at the ready, and it's super easy.Oh, and put it in fuse end into the tunnel. Otherwise you could potentially run the risk of smothering the fuse with the dirt as you fill in the hole/tunnel.Don't ask me how I know...Just know that I don't lol

Good product
Have used this over and over again. Works well but I live is an old swamp forest and while it does either kill or drive off moles, holes and gopher, they all tend to use the same runways and the breeders in the forest work their way back over time. Never had any luck with traps, they just go around and the worms work but only get one at a time. The gas seems to be the best thing I have found so far so that is worth the money. There are natural odor granules that have to be watered in and move them out until the smell wears off, but overall it is a lot of work for a very short term result during a rainy season.

Follow instructions and check your area for additional burrows, but product does not work!
Hello, my name is Gary and I purchased this because I noticed a ground squirrel burrow in my front yard. I used this in the burrow, covering up with moist dirt and noticed there was no leakage above ground. Beforehand I checked for other burrows and found none. For the next two days no new burrows but on the third day, a new one was approximately 2 1/2 feet away from the first one. So I repeated what I did with the first burrow. Again, two days later, a third burrow approximately 1 foot away from the very first one. Once again I used the product with the same results no leakage above ground and no other burrows found on the property. In two days a fourth burrow within 3 feet of all the previous ones. Using the last product, I lit, pushed deep inside the hole and covered with moist dirt. No above ground fumes and I feel that this is not going to work. We hired an exterminator to trap and poison the ground squirrels. Your product was inexpensive but not effective or impressive at all.

Results and proper function are inconsistent
I was losing the gofer battle and decided to try these gas bombs. They seemed to work. No gopher activity for a couple of months and my front yard was on the repair. Then one morning I see a mound of dirt. Then another and another. I went out and stuck gas bombs in three different holes. No effect. More mounds of dirt showed up. I stuck some of those buzzers you shove into the ground and no mounds since.I believe the issue was with the gas bombs. I had purchased two packages. When I used the first package I had no problems with the gassers and then no gophers. When the little turds showed back up I opened the second package and had no success. The problem was that the gas bombs in this package were burning like a torch rather than emitting smoke. I'd snuff out the flame again and again, but it would reignite again and again. No smoke, no gas so no dead gophers.I guess I got one good package of gas bombs and one bad package. Luck of the draw. I'll try another brand.Regarding those buzzers. They seem to work, but it's almost like the gophers get used to them after a while so something else must be tried. They seem to work again when brought back later. Unfortunately, they rarely last more than a season or two.
