Lifesaver! I have IBS and cannot go without mylanta and the flavor is delicious. I am so grateful for this product, and I absolutely am thankful for this flavor! I have to take this off then due to having IBS. The flavor is actually sweet and exactly as the title says. When you develop IBS this is the product for you! Of course you have to follow the low FODMAP diet along with it but if you have IBS you know that you can still get bloated with certain foods and this has been a lifesaver for me. Although I have to take it at night before bed, by morning I and back to normal. I don't need to go into detail, but after my morning coffee having taken 1 oz before bedtime my stomach is flat and my gut feels great. Once in awhile if I eat something I am unaware is going to make me bloated, during the day, all I need to do is drink an ounce of this and walk around a bit and it does its job! I hope this does not get discontinued!

One of the standout features of this Mylanta variety is its Vanilla Caramel flavor. It’s a refreshing change from the typical chalky taste associated with many antacids. The flavor is sweet but not overpowering, making it somewhat enjoyable to take. Overall, it’s a delightful addition that makes dealing with digestive woes a little less dreary. Like all Mylanta products that I have tried it works quickly and efficiently. Mylanta is my go to antacid!

I don't have the heartburn type of reflux, I have the throat symptom kind. (LPR). I was told to take one tablespoon of this one hour after meals and before bed. Trouble is, I was also told not to eat three meals a day, rather many small meals/snacks to reduce the possibility of reflux. I keep to 4 TB per day as best I can.Throat reflux, also called silent reflux and LPR, can cause any or all of laryngitis, a lump in the throat, trouble swallowing and sore throat. I have been told by a specialist that it's the pepsin in the reflux that does the real damage, and that it needs acid to activate, so I will continue to take the Mylanta to neutralize acid, but I am also deactivating the pepsin which will destroy esophageal tissue and throat/larynx tissue as well. I read the pubmed study that says high ph alkaline water totally deactivates the pepsin. I am drinking Essentia alkaline water (ph 9.5). Good price on Amazon.Finally, neither the Mylanta nor the alkaline water will stop the actual refluxing. They stop the heartburn, and tissue damage, but to stop the reflux from happening, I have changed my diet. No more raw garlic and onions, tomatoes or low ph fruits for a while.(Boo Hoo). I eat organic vegetarian so I don't eat greasy meats or high fat dairy. All of these things are making a difference as my throat is starting to feel better. I find it hard to take. Tastes chalky and gaggy sweet to me. (The Vanilla Caramel). I gave it 4 stars because it does work, but blah, it tastes bad.
