This pressure cooker is a very pretty and elegant addition to my cookware. It is very easy to use and very safe. I use it mainly for legumes, peas, chickpeas etc. after soaking them overnight. Put them in water, add a little salt, bring to a boil, turn off the gas and wait until the cooker cools. The size is ideal for everyday use for 1-2 people. The only thing to notice is that the detachable pressure valve might get lost when not in use. After losing one valve and purchasing another, I have dedicated a special place for it in a separate drawer.

My new favorite way to cook. Definitely read the instructions and watch safety videos online before using. That being said it is a wonderful product and I absolutely love using it. Make amazing pulled pork/chicken bbq or anything similar. Love making mixed vegetables in it as well. Best advice I can give is that less heat is better, I've used it about a dozen times and only had one problem with burning and that was when I put it on a high BTU gas burner at max heat. I also would advise letting the food sit for 10-15 minutes after heat is turned off before opening to continue the cook.

I like Hawkins brand. I have 2 stainless steel pressure cookers from which, one is over 10 years old, and is still going strong. When I saw this little "tomato", I just fall in love with it. Not that I'd need another pot, but how can you say "NO" to that compact looking beauty? Well I did at the end; the ceramic coating is only on the outside while inside is made out of aluminium, which I avoid in my cooking.
