Great for Crappie!
I'm eating Crappie for dinner. I was a little surprised, because I wasn't sure I liked the way it seemed too light to me. I realize, my existing jig heads are more like 1/4 or something heavier. Anyway, I couldn't have been more incorrect with my worry about the weight and how it fell. It seems possible that it fell more slowly in a more enticing way, which helped my success. I had a great time quickly catching seven crappie this morning. The largest two just over 14" and averaging little over pound and half. Not exceptional in some places, but solid slabs on my local lake. I pared the jig head with a Googan jig, which worked great together. The hooks set quickly and looked great after today's catch. My conclusion is that these are great for Crappie and are a good buy.

Good Deal but small loop for rigging
These jig heads do the job and are a good price but the loops are a bit small making them hard to rig up if you are using any additional hardware like quick clips or swivels. The fish do bite them a good bit just wish they were a bit more functional with the hardware we usually use.

Good jig heads for the price. The paint does seem to chip rather quickly but hey I did catch lots of fish with these jig heads.

They work... but the hooks are not strong. Had to find something stronger for use with Pacific salmon.
