Fit my needs.
This are the bomb: comfortable, not too long in the crotch area, thick enough to take them out but not too thick to be winterwear only. They're not truly black though, closer to a very dark charcoal/gray. Here is a picture of them compared to Mark's leggings (which are both very black and thick). Pictures taken on different lightings for illustrative purposes. This have a smaller waistband, more for comfort than tummy control.

Love them! Super comfy, dens, but stretchy enough. Excellent fabric quality. Will buy again, for sure. I 5'6", so just a bit long, so for a shorter person, might be a bit longer, however the quality beats the inconvenience.
