GreenLighting Bollard Path Lights Solar LED Lights (Stainless Steel, 12 Pk)

Awesome lights! Love the real glass (no plastic in the lens to get foggy or yellow over time). Yes, the stakes are plastic but so are most stakes of solar lights - just need to soften ground with a little water if it's too hard. The light leaves a little "starburst" on the ground and has a unique look with a brighter sparkle at both the top of the glass and the bottom. They are solar so they cast about as much light as previous solar lights I have had - more for ambiance than "lighting up the road". I ordered the box of 12 and have had no problems with any of them - in fact even the ones that are in partial shade are still lighting up until at least midnight (not sure how much longer because I'm in bed after that!). I also made sure I charged them for 3 days in bright sun as instructed before putting them out in the yard.

Breaks easily during installation. 50% of them broke. The part that goes on the grass breaks easily when inserting it into the grass. Do not recommend them unless they make it out of metal or another harder material. Now i am stuck with over 12 lights and no way to install them.

These are a beautiful lights. Durable, heavy duty and really stylish. I have them just in my floor beds and they look great.I would have given 5 stars but two of these barely light. I've had them a few weeks and have moved them around to make sure they are getting optimal sun but two do not work. I have contacted the company and they are working with me to have the two replaced. They are unfortunately out of stock so I am waiting a few weeks and need to e-mail them back.

Mounting spikes and base are much too thin and easily broken. Lights are only bright enough to be markers. The stainless steel is very thin aluminum I think and deteriorates quickly but not within the return period. I had extras so the two which broke upon installation weren't enough to immediately return but I should have. A tip, use rubber mallet to plant spike BEFORE attaching light and if the angle isn't perfect, Do Not try to position with light attached. The bottom plate is super thin and once cracked it's game over! UPDATE: 3 months later, 2 more units are broken.

These look very nice at night. I will agree with many comments on the sturdiness of the spike. The spike itself is good. It is the the circular base that the spike goes into that breaks when you push into the ground. Just make sure you create a hole for the spike first and then push spike I the hole.

The design is very unique and looks pretty in the day as well as at night.

Great product. 10-9-17 Update on these lights. After a little over 4 months of use they are going bad one by one. I have replaced 4 of them already now I have 3 more out. I am in discussion with the company right now about trying to get 3 more replaced. Not going in my favor either. I am rating these lights as no good. Go to Home Depot they have some that are black and about the same price.
