Aleader Men's Mesh Slip On Water Shoes

First, let me just say how flippin', gosh-darned comfortable these water shoes are. I wore them in the Bahamas and honestly, I could have worn them for walking around town all day long if I'd wanted to. The soles are flexible and cushy, and they don't rub on your ankles or heels or anything. They seem to be quite durable as well, hardly showing wear. Plus they even look nice, sort of like mesh running shoes. Based on all this I want to give them 5 stars, because I'm quite happy with them. However...Next, let me list a couple minor issues: they don't keep out sand or pebbles, and in fact seem to attract and hold muck inside the shoe when you wear them on a muddy river bottom. Also, sometimes gravel-sized rocks can get wedged into the tread on the soles.And finally, I do have to talk about the one significant (fatal?) flaw: these water shoes don't dry quickly at all. They actually stay wet for a disappointingly long time after worn in the water. I can't really figure out why, considering they seem to be made of a mesh material. It's almost weird, like I can't even figure out where all this moisture is hiding! You almost need to let them sit out overnight to completely dry them. I'd say this could be a fatal flaw if you're really looking for a dedicated water shoe. Like, if you step in the water when launching your canoe or kayak, your feet are gonna be kinda wet and cold for the rest of the morning. In the heat of summer, though, that doesn't bother me.

Wanted to share some close up pics, I bought for the lake and my boat, received today, they are comfortable, I wear a size 10.5 shoe, ordered 10, they fit snug & comfortable, didn't want anything real loose, as I will be wearing these with out socks, unlike my others shoes & boots.

 Having read the reviews here, where many said they are sized on the large size, I bought a relatively small size. To my surprise, they were far too small. I went a half-size up, and still too small. Third time was a charm, however, and the ease of the return process made the whole experience painless. As for the shoes, I LOVE THEM! Lightweight and airy for sure, but most important, I was able to walk on sand and in the ocean water, without having to shake sand out of them all the time. They were remarkably sand-free after a three-mile walk with my dog on the beach. Even with the holes on the bottom that allow water to flow through, there were barely a few grains of sand in them when I arrived back home. I ordered another two pairs for me and one for my wife too. If you walk on the sand and in water, these are the shoes for you. I used to own a pair of New Balance water shoes that I loved. I had them for three years, and was recently disappointed to learn that they were discontinued. I quickly forgot about them now that I've discovered these. Far lighter, and FAR less sand-filled!

Bought two sizes because of the reviews. Glad I did. The size which matched my US shoe size, 9.5 was too large and the US shoe size 8.5 fit. There was a single digit difference in the European size. Sent the larger pair back and kept the smaller. Love the way they feel. Look forward to swimming with these on. Did the same thing for my husband and had to keep the smaller pair. Because we are going to use them for swimming near coral reefs, we feel they need to fit snug.

So I bought these specifically for waking in a creek. They performed better than expected. They stayed on, they didn't slip all over the place. I went with a 1/2 size bigger by accident, but honestly that didn't make much of a difference in the water. In the end the half size would allow me to wear socks comfortably if I chose to wear them with this shoe. There was enough elastic to keep them on. My foot floats between 10.5 and 11 depending on shoe so that probably helped. After the all day walking in the water with them I was also very happy with how quickly they dried.

I wear a size 13 wide foot and these fit just fine. They are very lightweight and fairly comfortable in the pool. They didn't slip on the wet locker room floor, the pool deck, or the pool bottom, except for the painted black lines. The insoles are removable. The soles are not solid, but instead are somewhat vented to allow water drainage. I also wore mine while swimming laps without any problems. Although you might get sand in them at a beach, lake, or river, they would be good for protecting your feet.

I've worn these in the river that has sand & pebbles as a floor bottom.No pebbles or sand got inside the shoe while wearing them in the river.They are extremely light and didn't get heavy in weight while in the water. Good for swimming in.Note the outside sole material have holes in the sole to allow water to exit the show due to the inner mesh footbed.Certain size pebbles ten to get stuck in the outter sole area where the holes are which make it difficult to walk in when out of the water as I definitely felt the pebbles in the sole when I walked on the grass or street (which is why I gave 4 stars rather than 5). These shoes are extremely comfortable while walking on pavement so long as there are no pebbles stuck in the outter sole.These shoes barely absorb water so they remain light when wet and also dry quickly when out of the water.I'll be buying another pair.Great for salt / fresh water fishing, river tubing and boating.

I purchased these specifically for a cruise. I wanted something that I could wear both walking around the ship, while spending time at the pool and for port days at the beach. These were absolutely perfect for me! Much much more than I expected. I have sensitive feet and have worn an expensive brand of sandals in the past which always caused blisters on the back of my heels the very first day I wore them. Not these! I wore these almost everyday with not one negative issue at all. I wear a size 9 wide, and I almost always wear timberland pro woorkboots all day everyday, so I was nervous about how these would fit when I ordered, they fit perfectly! Very comfortable... and were just what i was looking for.
