Was pretty amazed by this snorkel mask. I assumed I would be dealing with suction issues since the mask goes over the whole face. Wasn't sure if my child could actually use this to to breathe under water using the snorkel. But as soon as she tried it out in the pool, I was impressed. Not only does the mask stay suctioned enough to not let water leak in (and I didn't have to suction it hard enough to the face that would make it uncomfortable), but the snorkel works fantastic. My five year old could swim all over the pool with her head under water while breathing easily through the snorkel. Also, she dove down a few times dunking the snorkel under water, but it allowed NO water in through the snorkel when she would do that. My five year old LOVED this and had a blast! And then my eight year old wants one because he had a blast with it too! The straps are super easy to tighten and loosen to adjust sizes depending on the kid's age or face shape. I didn't expect this much out of this snorkel mask, and was absolutely thrilled with how well it works and that my kids think it's the coolest thing ever! *Update - Took a trip to Kauai and my 5 year old used this mask to snorkel and it was amazing! She could snorkel with the adults for long periods of time simply because the mask didn't leak, she was easily able to breathe with the snorkel while she swam around looking at all the fish, and she could talk in it so she never tried to take the mask off if she wanted to say something. This mask is WELL worth every penny! I added the updated picture too.

Best purchase ever. My son has used this for 3 years and he is 7 now. He has snorkeled all over Hawaii with this mask. The suction is great, the fit is ideal for a child's face and water never gets in. I don't have a single complain about this mask, and would suggest it to anyone thinking about it. I even went and bought an adult one for myself after his love for it. If you are the fence, buy it. One thing to remember, ever 10 min or so make sure to get fresh air into the mask, there is the concern of CO2 buildup but if you are monitoring your child right just pull a corner off for 15 seconds get some fresh air in and they are good to go.

I'm really impressed with this mask and how well it works! It's easy to use and less fiddly than a real snorkel set. It fits a large variety of heads from preschoolers to small adults. It is easy to take on and off. I bought this for my 7yo kid to use in the pool, and it's survived the summer even after being borrowed by lots of little friends who have wanted to try it out. I also really like that the brightly colored tube sticking off the top of the head makes it very easy to spot my kid in a crowded pool! The only issue is that it really muffles the sound of a child's voice when they're wearing it. This would also be an issue with a regular snorkel, obviously. Some parents might think that's a selling point, and others might think that it's a safety hazard. I don't think I would go that far with the latter, because it's easy enough to pull the mask on and off. For us, the issue has only come up when my kid is trying to describe something cool to me. He can hear me perfectly (his ears aren't covered) but I can't understand him at all, so that gets frustrating for him. I will probably buy more of these as birthday presents.

Ordered 6/21 Received 6/22 First REAL use (i.e. not bath time) 7/3 Baby girl love love loves her new snorkel. A family friend has the traditional 2 piece snorkel and googles and my daughter felt she just hadddd to have some of her own. This one is great! Baby girl is 4, and I chose this mask bc she’s into pink and bc the full face snorkel is more hygienic (I can let her cousins use this with no issue) than the ones that fit in the mouth. Only criticism I have is that the snorkel had to be adjusted several times during today’s pool party. I’m unsure if it’s bc she kept sliding it up so she could be heard, or if it’s bc she’s 4 and this mask feels like it may be meant for a kid maybe around 8. I’m unsure, but her chin kept sliding out the bottom of the mask juuuust enough to get water in and make her cough a bit. Nothing major, but after 2-3x of this I decided to overly tighten the mask. It did the trick. So, you also may need to tighten the straps more than you may think you need to Nevertheless, we will be keeping this mask bc baby is in love. As Mama (aka the one she clings to in the water), I loved the new found independence baby girl was able to have in the pool today. No more pulling on my swim top when she suddenly gets nervous, no more screaming whenever water splashes in her face, no more “Mama, stay wif me and let’s play on the stairs”. She gained independence in the pool, I gained freedom. My friend is planning to order one for her 12yr old as well The snorkel spout thingie (?) easily slides into place and folds back down easily. I don’t feel like I’ll break it while performing either action. Once connected properly, it doesn’t wiggle around. It feels overall sturdy. So far no regrets with this purchase
