AMAZING product for a vendor-Had others collapse on me and fold during wind.
OK Buckle up buttercups. This is a tale of wandering until I found the right tent for me. I do vendor events outdoors and every once in a while it gets rainy or windy. I live in an area that weather changes significantly, so trusting the weatherman is frowned upon. My first tent was taken down by a weather downdraft that made it fold like a pair of matches. I tried another canopy that detailed significant upgrades....It was a bust. The whole thing collapsed and flipped over during a small amount of wind. NOW, the Crown Shades was recommended to me by looking for Rain durability, strong frame, and extra stability. I had to be sure. I bought it and took it to my 3 day ren fair event. Set up was a piece of cake. I was able to pop it out of its bag easily, and the top was a quick assembly to it. The canopy was thick and supported with extra secure points (A useful feature.) It set up easily. I anchored in the tent with the added dowels...as well as some weights of my own. That weekend we had gusts up to 50 mph, and rain. I stayed dry, and with the proper anchors, the tent stayed standing and never folded. The stitching was sound and didn't tear in the melee. The metal and anchors along the top were sound as well. I especially loved the Dark Brown color. It was a good selling point because most people go for the brighter hues. If you are a vendor who needs something sturdy with a lot of staying power...This is the one for you.

Surprisingly Sturdy Pop-Up Gazebo with Great Space and Bug Protection
The CROWN SHADES 11x11 pop-up gazebo is easy to set up and provides a bit more usable space than a standard 10x10. The center-lock system makes assembly quick, and the mosquito netting is a great feature for keeping bugs out during evenings outdoors. With added 5-gallon buckets filled with sand on each corner plus the included straps, it has held up well even in wind gusts up to about 50 mph in my experience. That level of stability is impressive for a pop-up style canopy. It’s still a lightweight, seasonal structure and not meant to be permanent, but with proper anchoring it performs far better than expected. Overall, a very practical and versatile gazebo for backyard use.

Stood up to some strong Oklahoma winds
I think what they have here is the sweet spot between a gazebo and a popup. We are traveling around the country in a motorhome so we needed something that would go up quick, store in a reasonable space and not weigh much. This is perfect. We're impressed with the build quality and the ease of erecting. Pretty much all popups are 10'x10' but the extra 3' overhang around is really helpful for keeping rain off, more shade .. the room inside is still 10x10. We are currently off Rt66 in OK and went through several days of exceptional winds, even by OK standards. We thought about taking it down but decided to let ride this out because we couldn't be putting it up and down all the time. It rode out 3 days of up to 50mph winds with no apparent damage. Impressive.

Nets not needed
Starting off, love this canopy. It’s sturdy and easy to put up and take down. When I bought this I was specifically looking for a canopy that came with bug netting for the sides but I realize now they are more trouble than they are worth. The concept is good but they really just keep the bugs trapped in that make it through the many openings from other parts of the canopy. The netting also snags easy on the velcro. Honestly just not worth the time.Get sides with windows if you’re looking for something like that. It amazingly comes with weight bags, extra guy wire and stakes which I enjoyed. As far as the sturdiness goes, we had it up for a long weekend of camping and met strong wind gusts and severe thunderstorms, and the canopy is no worse for wear! Don’t get me wrong, we dropped the canopy to its lowest setting and re-secured it, as well as already having it double staked and weighted down. But it held up getting jostled about and survived the storms with no damage leaking. The number one job it does and does well is keeping the sun rays from hitting you. Keeps it a little cooler under the canopy and provides perfect shade. Would recommend and will probably buy again if needed, or at least buy from same company with no hesitations.

Easiest setup ever
Oh my. Set up is a breeze once you get it figured out but directions lack in helping much. Once you do it 1x it's much easier. 2 people are best but my husband can do it almost by hinself. The biggest lack in directions is the screen in material. Where there is no directions but had someone else show us and then pretty simple. Awesome material and drops temp under it about 20 degrees. Great size for several people abd chairs. Looks very expensive and materials feel like excellent material to last for awhile. Great 2 roof construction. Push button lock is best ever and so easy to lock it in. Highly recommend this one for tge price, looks, ease of putting up and price.

Buy it! Best canopy we’ve ever had- better than well- known competitors
We love it! Not difficult to put up but unless you’re really tall you may need step stool to push up and lock center. Style of canopy allows water to run off away from people underneath. The bug net sides are a godsend. Great help having sandbags- ours is on deck instead of in yard so sand bags really help weigh it down. So far survived 2 bad storms with gusty winds and torrential downpours.

Great Design and Quality even though...
I purchased this in late November and it lasted a little over a month. Still, I give it 5 stars. Here's why: I primarily bought this for my recently adopted senior Chihuahua brothers, one of which is blind. They won't go outside in inclement weather so I purchased this gazebo to put on my wood deck - this would give them cover and a place to go to the bathroom. I had purchased a canopy before this and it lasted 24 hours when a 5mph breeze turned it into modern art titled "crap". Did my research and got this one. I'm 68 years old and partially disabled so a friend came over to set it up. took about an hour for everything. Here's what I loved about it: the design was elegant - so easy to put up; beautiful; sturdy; storage bag was strong, easy to pack, and had the written instructions sewn onto it (so convenient). Wasn't crazy about: mosquito netting - I wanted to keep the mesh walls on because they kept the rain from coming in, but they also increased wind drag and made windy conditions real threats. The orange guides meant to help secure the canopy to the horizontal scissor perimeter grid were too loose to be of use - but this didn't matter because the canopy did not ride up. I could not easily take it up and down because of my health so I wanted to really guard against high wind issues. I screwed the feet into the wood deck, used the included bags after filling with sand, used the tie-down ropes to secure it to the deck railing, and inspected it often. And then the storms came. For several weeks we endured steady winds of about 25mph! The gazebo took it like a champ. It would slightly bend at the legs and the canopy would really dance. It rained a great deal, sometimes hard, but everything under it stayed dry. I loved it, the dogs loved it. First the snow came - heavy, wet, and deep - 8 inches. I went outside 3 times that day and gently pushed on the underside of the canopy with a soft squeegee in order to break up the dense buildup of snow, guiding it downhill until it was off the ceiling. I was knocking off about 70-80 pounds of the stuff each time! Still, it held. I was amazed. And then the death knell tolled in the form of 2 days of frequent gusts of 50-60mph. My deck furniture blew off the deck, a bucket of 8 bricks ensconced in solid ice tipped over and blew down the deck steps. The dogs couldn't stand in it and I had to use 2 canes to stay upright. Then the metal rod holding one of the corners of the overhang-canopy snapped and the canopy corner blew towards the peak of the roof and began snapping back and forth. I captured it once but could not hold on - it ripped right out of my hands. I got into the house and sadly watched. I can not believe it lasted anywhere near as long as it did. It was insane. My friend came back the next day and took it down (the winds had died down). And even with all this, there is a chance I might be able to repair it. I HIGHLY recommend this gazebo. In my opinion, it's a beast when secured correctly. I thought the price was really good and that it was worth every penny and then some.

Great for camping or buggy back yards
We've had this all summer, which is why I delayed on the review. We live in AK and have AWFUL mosquitoes, this was a must and I was concerned we couldn't enjoy the outdoors while at home or camping. This is very simple to set up, I can do it in a few minutes by myself or in less than a minute with my wife. It offers plenty of space for a picnic table to be covered at most campgrounds, or like what we have at our house. The pros I have for this screen room are, the ease of setting it up, the rain resistant material, the size and space as well as the height. We love the waterproof of this, we store things under and experience no rain coming from the top, only from blowing wind sideways. The carrying case is great and makes moving, storing and transport a breeze. The zippers are not too bad, they are smooth for the most part, but only minor sticking. Lastly, the screens do cover 95% of the places bugs can get into, I just wish they had a better way to secure the net than the cheaper hooks. The cons/why I gave it 4 stars - Cheaper mesh, it catches on most everything and binds up, no true cuts but it does bind and bur. The plastic(?) Top and pole covers are really thin, it's easy to knick or cut, we've been very careful and have no cuts on the roof but the screen corners have 2 small cuts. The screen tie strings are poorly sewed on and rip very easily, as well as the screens are poorly fit to the size at full extension. Finally, I wish they provided a higher quality hook to secure the whole screen down, I bent 3 of them but fortunately have my own that we bring with us. Overall I would buy this again/another one, but it has held up very well throughout camping in Alaska, BBQs in the backyard and yard sales in the front.

Disappointed
Does not look as good as it is shown in the images. Canopy is not sturdy and cannot withstand heavy rain. Mosquito netting quality is not good.
