Tanceuticals Facial Self Tanner - CC Self Tanning Lotion for Face Gives Natur...

This is a dual rating: Face Tanner/Dark & Body Tanner Ultra Dark. Firstly, I’m fair w/some freckles and red undertones. However I do get relatively tan if I abuse myself in the sun—I don’t! I would rate the face tanner as very good. It’s a nice golden brown color on my skin. Although, I did need two applications, back to back, to get the color I like. I live on the gulf coast/Beach so being darker year around doesn’t raise eyebrows. The face tanner does have a less DHA smell then others I have used. No streaking and fades naturally. Now, the ultra dark body tanner is spectacular. One application and I was tan...two applications (2nd day) and I was week on the beach brown. It’s a superb golden brown color. Pretty much matched my normal tan without the red undertones. Hands down the best and deepest color I’ve ever gotten from a self tanner. No streaking so far but I there were a few spots around my feet that got a bit too dark. This is an intense tanner so follow a good application routine. Also, it does have a tanner smell once it develops...I would not wear on a date, for example. I’m a guy, if that matters.

great product - lasts decently long depending on how often you put it on. I wash my face every morning and night so obviously it doesn't last quite as long as the body products, but that is to be expected. Looks very natural and has that good summer kissed glow! It is very moisturizing. Strong smell of coconut (my husband thought I smelled like coffee creamer one morning from it?) so if you don't like coconut smell then this isn't for you. The smell is better than most tanning products so I'll take it.

I was recommended this product from a local gym. It is probably my favorite self tanner I have used thus far. It looks nice on and is easy to apply. I did purchase the mitt and it helps to apply the product well. Feet is always a challenge for me. I do put it on before bed and wake up with a nice glow. It does not get on my clothing or sheets. The smell is ok , not great but not overpowering at all.

This is the ultimate self tanner for your face. others fade quickly and this doesn't. I use a glycolic acid on my face daily due to congestion and dullness and this stands up to my daily regime. It's natural looking not orange and it looks like you have been sunkissed for a few days. It smells wonderful, goes on clear so you can go on about your day without looking ridiculous and it doesn't clog pores. I have also used the body version and it's great as well it's lasts forever even 10 days later when I wanted to reapply it was hard to exfoliate! But it faded beautifully , no scaly patchy stuff like other self tanners.

I purchased this for my mom's birthday. We are both fair skinned. She is a redhead and I am close to that. The product goes on smooth. Just use a tiny bit at a time. It lasts forever. It will streak a tiny bit if you are not careful, so definitely purchase the mitt that is available to rub on the product. The color is beautiful; not orangey. It is best to apply once, and then again the next day. Be sure to take your time and rub rub rub! This summer I am doingone limb each day for about 20 minutes using just a tiny bit of product. The tan is gorgeous and even. We are on our second bottle of the body cream and still on our first bottle of the facial tan.

This facial tanner definitely delivers on natural-looking color without any of the dreaded orange tones, and I was thrilled that the scent was super mild! However, as someone with 50+ skin, it unfortunately darkened my age spots and minor imperfections right along with the rest of my face, which wasn't very flattering. The color lasted about four days before fading fairly quickly. While I love the natural shade and subtle scent, the price feels a bit high given how it accentuates dark spots. I might give it another shot using spot-treatment tricks, but I'm on the fence about repurchasing it.

I’m of Norwegian descent, very pale. I originally bought the light facial tan, but the scent was too strong and it didn’t provide much color. This one is perfect. It has a much lighter scent and you can choose how dark you want to go by frequency of application. The most important thing about Tanceuticals, though, is the tone of the tan. Very natural looking, no orange. In my opinion, this is the best tanning product on the market. I’m very careful about exposure to the sun because skin cancer runs in both sides of my family. With Tanceuticals I get a nice tan without the danger.

To start...I'm not an avid self tanner. Every product I've used over the years when I've gotten an itch to be a bit darker has left me either orange, too dark, or splotchy. I didn't go into this with high hopes at all, but it exceeded my expectations. I'm white. Like translucent white. With very red undertones...when I do tan in the sun it's looks more red than sunkissed brown. I did a small test patch on my leg the day before to make sure it wasn't going to be bright orange on my face, and seeing how dark it got on that spot overnight I opted to take a day and stay home so I could wash it off if it was getting too dark. The cream itself is very smooth and moisturizing...great for my dry skin. It did burn a bit at first but no red skin irritations. The color was good for me, it is definitely a bit 'warm', not a true brown, more like when I tan in the sun naturally. If you have cool undertones, I can see where it may look more orange than it did on me. Be warned though...this stuff STINKS. Smells great for about ten minutes...after that, pure DHA smell. Don't expect to leave the house if you do it during the day, it smells like burnt underarm hair. Other than that, didn't rub off on white pillows, not splotchy, and there's quite a lot in that little tube. Expect if I keep it up it would last probably a month, month and a half.

I have used this product for over two years now & am very pleased with the results. Leaves a very natural tan.
