Works really well with my polisher

I am new to this and have been going crazy with obsessive research for the past 3 months. I have bought 3 da's so far and finally settled on the Maxshine M15. Then I got my first challenging job. After a ton of research I saw this pad being used by a guy named Brian from Apex detailing(youtube him) so I did exactly what I saw him groveling over. I paired this pad with 3D one and got to working. I had to do multiple passes but I saw the hood actually coming back to life. I have attached pics. I tried an orange ccs pad but I didn't see the kind of results I was getting from this Uro-Fiber 50/50 pad. Well, needless to say I finished the entire car with it and followed it up with TW Hybrid solutions Ceramic wax and polish with a black Lake Country CCS pad and the results were amazing. Now I am finding myself looking for more challenging jobs to put this pad and polish combo to the test. BTW, I used spray nine to clean it afterwards and it's in like new condition. I can see these pads lasting a long long time. I bought 3 of them and I really can't see myself ever having to open up the other packages to need to use them. Well unless of course I am in the middle of doing a job and need to replace the pad. Anyhow, the pad is amazing and I am looking forward to getting lots of use out of these. Hope this review is helpful to someone.

The pad worked great with a polish on dull fiberglass gelcoat. The reason I didn't give it five stars is that the hole in the center of the pad resulted in polish building up in the middle of the hook-side base of my random-orbital sander. I got some of it out with a good petroleum-based solvent, but some remains.

I really want to like this, but it just doesn't seem to have the cutting power I want. I know lots of detailers swear by this pad, but I feel like it just slow me down way too much. As well I wish the backing foam was a little thicker so the pad would form fit around curves on the vehicles painted service. It kind of feel like I'm trying to polish with a stiff grinding wheel. Just not my preferred pad.

I’ve used plenty of pad for polishing and this is my go to pad. Works very well with the 3d one compound.

Honestly I've not had opportunity to use this pad ive always used foam pads and with foam pads you have levels of hardness that determine its use so when I saw this hybrid design it intrigued me got my imagination sparked of what I can do using a compound or a polish using this pad.
