Upon receipt and inspection I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the terminals. I have no doubt these are going to perform as designed, these types of terminals were never intended to be utilized, disengaged from the wire, and reinstalled, let alone multiple times after this. They are a single use terminal and perform flawlessly as such. As far as their durability towards being plugged and unplugged multiple times without failure, I was able to test this at over 20 cycles without fail until I discontinued this process. The terminals were still in tact, worn in their contact surfaces, as is expected, but still intact and functional. The assortment is exactly as expected for this kit, what I mean by this is you will need to review the different types of components in each assortment based upon your needs before deciding on which kit/s, package/s to purchase. There are other kits with a different assortment of terminals available for purchase, as well as single terminal packages in the event you are only in need of a single, certain style terminal. In searching, you will also find there are not only kits and single packages of different styles, sizes and types of terminals, but also different counts of packaged terminals. You will notice you can purchase a large amount/assortment or a small amount/assortment, it depends upon your preferences, requirements and, or needs in the moment. You wouldn’t want to be stuck with a hundred terminals hanging around when you only needed two. In my opinion, you can rest assured you will not be dissatisfied with this product, and/or its parent products.

Functions well and easy to use. Once connected had a solid connection. Nice variety of sizes and a good solid thickness. Looks almost professional when done.

I keep finding projects that I can use these for. I bought them for one simple lawn mower repair and now I am finding all kinds of uses for them.

My quad had a few broken wires and also some overly corroded connectors. This set allowed me to replace both and get it up and running again. You'll need a crimper specific to these sort of crimp terminals. One that can nicely crimp these both on the bare wire and to the second crimp tangs to the wire's insulation. A standard wire stripper/crimper used for household electrical tasks will not work on these connectors.

This is just what I. Needed for a particular job I was working on replacing wires on all ready made up relays to re use with new much longer wires.

Nice terminals. Locking tabs engage in plastic connector plugs well. Push to click. As noted, you need the special crimper tool for open barrel terminals that is specific for non-insulated terminals with 2 sets of tangs. They are light gauge brass, but that should be fine for 14-16ga wires that terminate in a plastic connector plug. I did find that with some older (like 70s) automotive-type wiring with a thicker PVC insulation that it was harder to get the second set of tangs to properly crimp. Discovered while changing terminations on a 70s vintage Gravely 2 wheel tractor wiring harness.

The connectors are for professional use and require insulating sleeves and a "supercrimp" tool that turns the crimp back in on itself. But they work properly and are good quality.
