This food was recommended during a consult w/ a pet nutritionist from Tuft's University School of Veterinary Medicine. My Beagle has congestive heart failure, kidney and liver disease, and is a bit over weight (like most older Beagles). This food was recommended due to how nutritionally complete it is, as well as low in sodium. Sodium content is not listed on dog food. Wellness provides superior foods and snacks for dogs. My dog loves the food. He did well transitioning to this food, with just a bit of stomach upset and bloating. I have been feeding him this food for the last several months and he is doing well. This food is tough to find in regular pet stores. I was nervous about ordering it online. This seller has been good, the bags are sealed and brand new. Delivery is as expected. I highly recommend this food and Wellness products.
