They feel better than some all-synthetic boy shorts I bought.. These are cotton with spandex. I went up a size and found that these in XL are softer and better made than the L. In XL the seams are flat — much better!! The waistband is softer too. At 71, my skin in this area is more fragile and I have to be careful to avoid chafing.
