Not leak proof, compact size.
These are a nice compact size, however the straw is clunky to use (you have to fully open it all the way, can't be used straight up but only at the weird backward angle, and the air valve doesn't work so you still end up with suction pulling in the sides of the bottle while drinking) and they are NOT leak proof! I found a different 6 pack of bottles that have a flip top and actually seem to be leak proof, so will use those instead. However, I really like the compact size of these, and if they had a simple screw top lid or flip top/pour spout lid (that didn't leak) they'd be perfect, as the compact size is great for lunch boxes. So, I will see if I can order replacement lids that fit, and then they might work.

Has Rubbermaid cut corners?
We have used these containers for years. After a few years the containers eventually crack. Not unusual or surprising, as we use them every school day. We decided to buy this 4 pack because of the price. Three out of the four straw tops pop out when you close them. They are very easy to push back in but if you have a younger or less observant child they might not notice and it WILL leak everywhere. Mind you, we have used these for about 8 years and the last 5 drink boxes have NOT had this problem. I assume Rubbermaid has joined the other manufacturers and cut corners somewhere. Or perhaps we bought them from a seller who buys and sells “irregular/rejects” products. My kids are are teenagers and heeded my warning. If you have younger kids you might want to buy from a seller who accepts free returns for defects.

The straw suction doesn’t work
They don’t leak, BUT it’s difficult and frustrating to suck the drink through the straw. I’ve been sending these to school in my son’s lunch box. Months later when I’m rushing to attach the straw, my son tells me the straws don’t work. He’s been unscrewing the top and drinking from the box. Thankfully he drinks all the juice so no leak problem. However, I will not buy anymore. I want juice boxes that don’t leak and spill proof. My kid having to take the top off is an accident waiting to happen.

Good size, washable, and spill resistent
My headline pretty much says it all. After making sure the top is securely tightened and the sippy part is pushed all the way down, juice in one of these it survives in the lunch bag without spilling.

Leaks
I received an old one of these litterless boxes with some hand-me-down clothes. It is amazing! It holds just the right amount of milk for a kid's lunch, fits beautifully in a lunchbox, and never leaks. I was so excited to find them on amazon. The pack I recieved must have been defective, or rubbermaid has really gone down in quality. After a few milk soaked lunchboxes, I realized none of the boxes had rubber gaskets where the lid meets the box. The old box I have does. Liquid leaks from the threads. Additionally, two of the four spouts pop off every time you fold them down. They just won't stay seated. I wish they were the same as the older one I have. They are sadly going back.😪

My daughter had a submucosal cleft palate and had never been able to swallow correctly. After her surgery and healing, she's been going through feeding therapy to learn how to swallow. These were suggested and did their job perfectly. She's moved on to regular strawed sippy cups. I would have given this product more stars but, it's not the easiest thing to clean.

Perfect juice box alternative
Love these. I had an impossible time finding whole milk juice boxes for my little guy for school so I send his drinks in these. They don’t leak and we all love them. Our 10 month old baby has been having a tough time with sippy cups but has finally been able to drink out of these with no mess. Love them!

Leaks in lunchboxes
I had high hopes for this product and have been disappointed. I cannot use them in the kids' lunchboxes because they leak. They also are often unable to drink through the straw and spout and end up having to remove the lid to drink.
