Bought two so I could make my Travel Q into a griddle top. There is a lip along the center edge which doesn't make it ideal to use two plates. Otherwise, a single plate works as intended.

I recently added this to my PRO285X grill before a couple of early Eagles games so that we could add a breakfast element to the early tailgates. It worked perfectly for eggs, sausage, and pancakes. It also works well for bacon, although I prefer letting the bacon cook on the grates. It heats up quickly and evenly with a nice range of temperature control. It's "reversible", but that means it fits on either side and both sides are a smooth griddle finish. Like other Napoleon products, it's expensive because it's a quality item, and is very heavy cast iron. I highly recommend this add-on if you plan on doing any AM tailgating or want to add a griddle to your camping or RV experience.
