I love these organic spelt berries and have been using them for years. They are always fresh and clean. I mill all my own flour and love using these Spelt berries alone in cookies, pancakes, and quick breads or in combination with other hard red and white wheats for yeasted and sourdough breads. The spelt adds a desirable extensibility to the dough and the flavor is to die for. Since the gluten development in Spelt and other ancient grains is not as strong as hard red and hard white wheat, it’s not the best choice to use solo unless you prefer a dense bread.. Adding 10% or so to replace an equal amount of those hard grains in your recipe adds incomparable flavor.

Berries taste wonderful and they are clean.

Well packaged and high quality. I’m new to home milling and I was surprised to watch a YouTube tutorial where someone was picking out small rocks and sticks from the wheat berries. Nothing but the spelt berries came in this bag! Made excellent blueberry muffins. Will buy again from them (a bigger quantity next time).

I love the way he spelt taste when I bake bread with it. I mail my own grain and the spelt gives a nice nutty taste to the bread. I will be ordering more and I love this company.

I grind my grains for making bread for my family! It is important to me that I have highest quality available at a price I can afford! This product delivers! It packed well and I have never had issues with receiving it on time!

These are whole grains but I ground them up and then I fermented them and they made a very good morning porridge
