It reminds me of dr teals citrus pink himilayan epsom salt. But it is not harsh like a citrus soap would be. I am allergic to many products but not at all to this. I use it all over from my face to feet. I noticed that my pores are not big anymore and my face looks firmer which is why I bought it. And my skin tone looks like it is evening out. Even after the first use. But if a product is good my skin tends to respond well right away. But may stop working in the long run. So we'll have to see. But so far so good! I would recommend it and I will be continuing to use it. Even if it didn't work the smell is so lovely I would. The only thing is the box was damaged and ripped apart.
