Turtle block for snails too!
The turtle. block works great to give my hatchling apple snails the calcium they need for their shell. I noticed a huge improvement, plus they are on it and eating it. I

Break it apart a little bit
My sweet girl took to it right away. I broke it down to a much smaller piece since she's only 4 months old but I caught her munching on it today! Sprinkled the dust in her food from the break down 😊

My turtle won't eat this.
Unfortunately my turtle won't touch this tortoise block. I've tried breaking it up and mixing it with his food, but he will still not eat it. However that doesn't mean other turtles won't eat it. Mine just might be a bit pickier?

Picky Turtle
I bought this product hoping that the scent would be enough to convince my turtle to eat it. Sadly after a couple of months she still has yet to try it. The product is priced right and the scent it gives off is actually nice, was a good purchase just not tempting enough for my picky eater.

Unfortunately, this product turned out to be a major disappointment. None of my tortoises, despite their diverse preferences, showed any interest in this block.I tried placing the block in different areas of their enclosure, hoping to entice them, but to no avail. They simply ignored it, leaving me with a useless brick.I'm baffled by this product's lack of appeal, as Zoo Med is usually known for producing high-quality reptile products. I'm not sure if it's the block's composition or its presentation, but it's clearly not appetizing to my tortoises.I would not recommend this product to anyone. Save your money and find a more appealing option for your tortoises.**Overall rating:**1 out of 5 stars

Lasts for a long time
I bought this product for my Russian tortoise and it wasn’t his favorite but I’m giving this product a 5-star rating because I was surprised how long it lasted. If your reptile doesn’t find it appealing, I highly recommend placing something on it that they like, ex. Tomato’s, collard, etc.
