I bought two of these sleeping bag for my wife and I when we go camping and we love them. This was a great purchase, well worth the money. There’s so many good things about this bag, that’s why I’m giving a 5 star review. Pros: -Shipping was fast, Prime so 2 days -packaging and box was neat and not beat up -travel sack bag is great, it’s actually not a fight to stuff the sleeping bag in like normal undersized draw string bags, once you get the bag in, it has two straps that allow you to tight and condense the sleeping bag a lot smaller -lots of loft, or very fluffy -inside is a very soft cotton flannel like material so no sweating or no loud sweaky noises when you twist and turn inside -inside has a small pocket to have your flashlight close to you, this pocket is also big enough for a phone, wallet, or keys -zipper is strong and can be pulled from both inside and outside -selling point: every seem that’s apart of the zipper has a extra rolled tube like material to not allow cold air to get in or escape through the zipper -selling point: same tube like material is located at the top of the bag, where your shoulders meet to create that extra space where dead space tends to be which leads to ambient air inside your bag, so it fills the gaps at your neck&shoulder line -selling point: again that usual dead space around your neck&shoulder line is definitely voided because they incorporate a draw string easily to reach to pull in and has zero gaps, it’s almost like a step 1 before you use your mummy hood -selling point: a draw string mummy hood that’s on a normal style rectanglular bag. I’ve always like the idea of mummy hood but I hated the tapered down bags as I need leg room, I can’t sleep like vampire -selling point: seller makes right&left sided zippers so that way you can combine two together. If you do this, my advise is to watch a YouTube video on how to attach because the hardest part is getting your zipper unattached before you combine both together, the zipper is strong, use some strength don’t be scared -good additions: soft Velcro to cover zipper placement and locking so bag doesn’t accidentally open or widen, btw they designed the velcro in a specific way so it can’t scratch you -good additions: two hanging loops at the feet of the bag for storage as you don’t want to keep it in the travel sack bag and lose it’s loft -colors and patterns of the bag are nice. My wife loves her turquoise and I actually do like my hunter green with cool patterns inside Cons: - I’m 5’8 and when I’m in the bag my feet are flush to the bottom, I’m a side sleep who bends their knees so bottoming out the bag wasn’t an issue for me but I felt it bottom when I did that morning stretch. My wife is 5’2 and no issues for her. Honestly, I read about this from another review but I didn’t take it to heart because I know I bend my knees and I didn’t want order the XL size, when it’s more material, more weight, if your a backpacker you know every ounce counts. I think Teton is aware of there sizing since there’s a XL model, so really this isn’t CON at all, reason why I gave 5 stars. My advice; if you’re taller than 5’8 get the XL model, if you’re 5’8 or 5’7 and sleep with your legs straight out, you’re probably going to feel the bottom of the bag so get the XL model, if you’re under 5’7 don’t worry about bottoming out the bag.

This sleeping bag is WARM and roomy enough for my 5'11" with good posture 150 pound athletic with a cookie gut frame. The orange color is brighter than anticipated. The brushed-cotton flannel lining is super-comfortable and astheticly pleasing with the colors of a tootsie roll wrapper...which I really like. This sleeping bag is so very toasty that it is likely to be too warm for a 60-70° Summer night, however, ideal for late Spring and early Fall 40-60 degree nights and likely comfortable at 20° F. Zero Fahrenheit is the advertised comfort rating for men....I will unlikely test that extreme of a temperature. I had the thought of buying a smaller bag in effort to compress this bag further, however, I believe the manufacturer has met the bags compression limit with the supplied bag. Overall, this is a great value for a non-hiking sleeping bag and I have ordered a second Teton Celcius sleeping bag in a less flashy color (grey), rather than return the traffic cone/hunter's safety orange tootsie roll bag which will only leave the house as a spare or guest loaner bag (*they will no doubt love the color). I'll use the orange bag as my cold night home sack and when th Dolphins play the Browns. Enjoy!

OK. Now that we've got that out of the way...let's just start from the beginning, shall we? This thing is big. That's what it is -- a Big. Warm. Inexpensive. And all in all pretty well made sleeping bag. (Although as another reviewer pointed out it would have made more sense to have the zipper go across the bottom so it could be opened up flat. That's why I deducted 1 star.) And not to belabor the point, but reading that this bag weighs 5 pounds is one thing; seeing it up close and personal is another. DAMN this thing is big. However, it DOES fit my Teton 75L pack in the upper outside strap down section underneath the main strap down area. (I haven't tried to fit it into the designated zippered "sleeping bag pouch" section because for me, where I have it now secured is more beneficial and allows me to use the designated sleeping bag zippered pouch for other items.) And in fairness, this is replacing a 35 degree Kelty Tuck, which weighs half as much and packs down much smaller. BUT...I need to add a 2 pound wool blanket to make the Kelty usable in really cold weather situations. So...when you factor that in, and the fact that I need 2 places in my pack for that combo -- one for the Kelty and another one for the blanket -- this bag does double duty and only weighs about 8 ounces more while only monopolizing one storage area, not two. (I'd previously kept the Kelty in the same area that I'll put the Teton.) Additionally, this bag is more comfortable for me than the Kelty, which is more of a mummy bag. In this Teton bag I can sleep on my stomach and have both arms/hands up near my head, rather than 1 by my head and 1 pinned down by my side like in the Kelty. (The pull cords for the neck collar and head section do tend to be a bit annoying but not terribly so.) I also prefer the functioning of the zipper on this bag to the one on the Kelty. That one ALWAYS gets hung up at various places. (It isn't so much that it snags any material; it just stops zipping. It's frustrating.) This one is pretty smooth, although if it's not zipped up all the way it tends to unzip itself by itself. Finally, if you fold this bag in half width-wise, then fold it in half length-wise, lay on it, then start from the non-corded end to stuff it intelligently into the compression sack, it's relatively easy to get this sucker neatly back into the sack without doing any damage to the bag or the compression sack. (And taking it out of the compression sack for the first time, the bag fluffed right up almost immediately. That was nice.) So to recap: Yes. This bag is big. It is NOT a super expensive lofty goose down bag that compresses down to the size of a Coke can. However, for what it IS...a relatively big, somewhat heavy, comfortable, warm, non-down sleeping bag...it's pretty damn good. (As well as being pretty damn big.) In my mind I compare this more to the old Coleman sleeping bags. In that regard, I think this is better, although a lot of folks love those Coleman bags. To each his own. CAVEAT: When I say "big" I'm not really saying roomy. I'm 5'8" and scrunched down in the bag so I can pull the little head section tight while lying on my stomach (basically using the bag backwards, with the head section covering the back of my head), my feet do touch the bottom of the bag, but not uncomfortably so. I'd imagine anyone taller than about 5'8", however, would need to get the XL or bigger. (Did I mention that it's big?) :-D NOTE: The past few nights here it's been either in the 20s or 30s. Sleeping in the Kelty/wool blanket combo (along with putting that whole combo on a non-insulated Klymit inflatable ultra lightweight pad, encased by a 2Go Tyvex zippered bivvy sack) I was quite toasty. And clothes-wise all I was wearing were wool socks and top/bottom wool thermals. No other clothes. No gloves. No balaclava. Tonight it's going to be a little warmer and I'm going to test this bag out by itself, just on the Klymit pad. And as soon as it's down in the 30s or 20s again I'll try this Teton bag by itself and see how insulating and warm it really is. Then I'll update this review. This is basically just an unboxing review. For me, if I can get the same or better results just with the Teton and 2Go bivvy sack, then that'll be my set up. Not perfect, but more than good enough. And simpler. Update 11/25/18: Last night I slept in the Teton Celsius, on top of the Klymit V2 pad, which was zipped inside the 2Go Tyvex bivvy sack. I was only wearing Merino wool thermals top/bottom, thick wool socks, and nice wool gloves. The temperature went down to around 42 degrees. I slept on my stomach, with the bag fully zipped and the head area pulled up over the back of my head but not cinched at all. (I also had a small inflatable pillow.) I was extremely comfortable. Much more comfortable than sleeping with the Kelty + wool blanket. The Teton is real cushy and more roomy than the mummy design of the Kelty. I slept until 9 AM and felt great when I woke up. Next up: I'll wait until the temperature goes back down into the 20s and update the review after that. So far, so good!!

I bought two of these sleeping bags for my kiddos after they woke up freezing on our first camping trip this season. We were up in the mountains in MT in late summer, so high elevation, and while it was hot during the day, it was super cold at night. We wanted something that would be 0 degree but not a mummy sack cause they like to be able to spread out in their sleep. We were really surprised when they arrived & we pulled them out of the compression sacks. They lofted nicely and when the kiddos climbed in, they were happy to find that it was super comfortable inside. My husband even commented on how nice and plush they were. We tested them out on our next camping trip into the mountains and even with the wind blowing cold and hard, they slept through the whole night. I kept waking up to check on them and they were warm and toasty. They said these sleeping bags, coupled with our sleep pads, made it almost as comfy as their beds at home. Hubby like the kids' bags so much I ended up getting him the XL version and I'm currently contemplating getting one for me. OVERALL: great sleeping bags. We love them & would totally recommend them. They are soft, comfy and warm and did great for cold weather camping. Be warned the bottoms do not unzip, but that didn't bother us. They were shipped quickly and arrived without damage to the sleeping bag or compression sack. They do take a little effort to get back in the sack but honestly, it's not too bad; Hubby just roll them up tight and they fit fine. I probably wouldn't recommend these for backpacking though. They seem a bit bulky and heavy for that. I know some people have had issues with the zipper breaking after the first use, so we'll see how it holds up.

I live in Florida, so sleeping bags are not really a thing here most of the year. We can usually get away with a couple blankets and call it a day. But during those random cold snaps or when you’re somewhere without electricity, a good sleeping bag makes way more sense than dragging a pile of blankets around. After reading a ton of reviews, I decided to go with the zero degree bag. From what I understand, zero degrees is more of a survival rating and the comfort level is closer to the 30s. I’ve used this on multiple nights where temps were between 29 and 35 degrees and I was completely toasty. I did not need any extra blankets at all. I really like the double zipper. If my feet started to get a little too warm, I could unzip just the bottom part to let some cool air in. That feature alone makes a big difference. I’m 5’2” and this bag is perfect for me size wise. My daughter is a little shorter and for her it does stay colder down by her feet since she doesn’t fill it up all the way. We just toss a fleece blanket in the empty space and that fixes the problem immediately. We’ve also let friends borrow it for cold camping trips and they were super impressed with how warm it is. It’s surprisingly light for how warm it keeps you. I can get it back into the compression sack by myself without wrestling it for an hour. After camping, we let it air out and store it outside of the compression bag so it keeps its fluff and loft. One thing I do agree with from other reviews is that the zipper can snag. You definitely have to go slow and make sure the fabric is pulled away from the zipper or it will catch pretty badly. It’s not a deal breaker, just something to be aware of. The little cell phone pocket inside is kind of pointless to me. Maybe someone else loves it, but I don’t really use it. I do like the draw cord around the neck though. If it’s really cold, you can cinch it down and it traps the heat in really well. Overall, this was a great purchase. It’s kept us warm on some very cold Florida nights and has held up great. I’ve already recommended it to other people and would definitely buy it again.

The short version: Great price, good bag, kept me nicely warm down to 17 degrees (some of my fellow campers who I know had more expensive gear were complaining of getting cold feet, etc - not me) but I picked the wrong size for my 6'1", 220 pound frame - I should have gotten the XL or XXL. The long version: A quick back story for why I bought this bag. I was invited to a guy's weekend camping trip that my brother-in-law and some friends take during the winter every year. I haven't really camped in ages, and as a result, I had no gear, but I wanted to go and I geared up for the trip and was trying to be a smart shopper on everything, which led me to this Teton bag as being a solid bang for the buck, based on reviews I'd read. As far as performance is concerned, this bag did what I needed it to do - it kept me warm for the two nights we were out. Night one got into the mid/low 20s, but night two got down to 17 degrees. (Caveat - make sure you have a good pad that protects you from ground cold.) With that said, I stayed warm on both nights. On night one I was sleeping on a pad on a cot, and I woke up with some of my fellow campers talking about how their feet got cold, etc. Not me - I was comfortably warm all night. On night two, I decided to break down the cot so I'd have more room in my tent - and I put the pad on the ground. A little bit of cold came up through the pad - NOT the bag's fault. I countered this by putting on a lightweight long-sleeved shirt, and again, stayed warm the rest of the night. I believe that if I had stayed on the cot, there wouldn't have been an issue, even at 17 degrees. SIZE - this bag measures 80x33 inches. I'm 6'1 and about 220, and figured that this bag would be plenty big enough. Nope. I "fit" in the bag, but barely. My feet were all the way at the end, and the 33" width made turning over challenging. I felt that this size was a bit confining for me laterally, and a longer bag would have allowed me to hunker down in it a bit better so I could have better kept my nose and face warmer. (I think the lack of ability to hunker down into the bag a bit better is what caused my bare arms to feel some of the chill that came in around the top - again, not the bag's fault.) Teton makes this bag in an XXL that's 90x39, and if I am invited for this trip again next year, I'll get this very same bag in the larger size - I can't imagine I'd ever need anything "better," and I'll politely pass if the weather is forecast to get colder than this trip, which initially was only forecast to get into the mid-20s during the night. Bottom line: I stayed warm, and other than the size, I'd recommend this as being a budget-friendly cold weather sleeping bag.

Let me start by saying that you absolutely can get these bags all the way in the stuff sack. My husband and I both did it several times. It isn't exactly a piece of cake, but you can do it, and if you are having trouble, please watch the video that shows you how. I purchased these bags for my husband and I for a September Pacific Coast roadtrip. I read that it gets down to the mid-forties, so I wanted to make sure we'd be warm enough. There was one night I was too warm in my bag. One night I was on the cooler side, but not miserable. But the other nights, I was just right. I was very comfortable in this bag. I love the flannel and the bag has a nice loft to it. I'm not sure how it will be for summer camping in Colorado, but I look forward to finding out. I purchased a left and right side. We slept with them zipped together a couple nights and separate a couple nights. My husband is 5'11" and the bag was a little short for him, so he liked having them zipped together so he could stretch out and be covered better. I am 5'6" and the bag was just right for me. On one of the cold nights, I was able to scoot all the way down and cinch the top. It is very cozy and comfy. The zippers are super easy to slide which is good and bad. It's a breeze to undo your bag and zip them together, but it also means that when you move around, you can unzip the bottom side down the middle. The velcro strap kind of helps, but not all the way. That wasn't a huge deal though. Another factor that made these great for us is that we had to pack all our gear in suitcases and fly with them out to Oregon. These can pack pretty small when you really tighten all the straps, and they are pretty light too! That was a huuuge bonus for us. Update 5/11/17 We just used our bags on a five day camping trip in Yosemite and Sequoia. It's been really chilly every night. The first couple nights were the worst. I would say in the mid thirties. I was not warm enough in my bag at all. It was hard to stay asleep because it was so cold. And that was wearing leggings tucked into wool socks and flannel pajama pants over them tucked in to a bigger thick pair of socks, a T shirt, long sleeve T, pull over sweater and a light weight fleece lined jacket and beanie. My feet, butt and backs of my legs were what really froze. The front of my body was pretty warm. I have a Big Agnes airmat that is not insulated, and I think having an insulated mat would probably make a difference. I would have zipped our bags together so we could steal each others body heat, but we already knew it wouldn't stay zipped together all the way and neither of us wanted to deal with that in the middle of a cold night. I'm not saying the bag is low quality. It seems like it's made really well. But it's probably not the bag to use if you're camping when it's really cold at night.

I was pretty skeptical of this sleeping bag but I was camping in 30 degree weather in a RTT (roof top tent) with zero protection from the wind in the open field. Lowest temperature I saw was 34 degrees. Under the sleeping bag was a down feather comforter for a bit more insulation. I am a big baby when it comes to cold weather. This sleeping bag blew me away!! I was comfy and warm all three nights I camped! I slept in wool socks, flannel PJ’s and a large hoodie for reference. The quality is fantastic, super warm the moment you hop in and zip it up. For cleaning I’m just spot cleaning it with a rag and after every trip I air it out properly to make sure the dog fur isn’t hiding in it. It rolls back up nicely in its carrying case.

Para camping perfecto, para montañismo 7/10. Muy pesado. Calienta perfecto, es muy cómodo y suave. No he pasado frío con el en el Nevado de Colima.

Lo recomiendo mucho, es cómodo y cumple perfectamente con su función de mantenerte calientito. Y el color es precioso. Ojo, es un sleeping bag grande, tómalo en cuenta si lo que buscas es que no sea tan voluminoso.

Excelente sleeping bag, muy caliente. Me ha servido para temperaturas de -2°C sin necesidad de usar ropa extra. Único downside es que es muy voluminoso, sin embargo es de esperarse.

日本では無名のメーカー？ ちなみに私が買った時の価格は11,838円。 海外からの配送で最長１ヶ月かかるとのことだったが２週間ほどで届いて良かった。 注意点・適応身長は175cmまで。 快適温度・－1度。 良い点・普通の布団に包まれているような快適さ。 悪い点・収納サイズがデカい。 暖かい。 ボリューム感もあり、内側の肌触りも良いので普通の布団に近い感覚。 寝袋のナイロン感が苦手な人にもお勧め。 ストレッチが効いて快適だと宣伝していた有名アウトドアメーカーのマミー型を初めてのキャンプで使って足元の窮屈さが嫌で手放した私だが、 これは封筒型ということで楽。 頭のほうは絞れば擬似的にマミー型のように頭を包めるが本当のマミー型ほどしっかり頭を包んではくれない。 肩口から冷気が入りにくくなる程度。 とても嵩張るのが難点で、コンプレッションバックを締めてもデカいので車以外の移動手段には向かない。 キャンプで実際に使用。 最低気温マイナス1度で使用。 ホッカイロ以外の暖房を用意しておらず、さすがに寒いがキツイほどではなかった。 キャンプに慣れて無駄な荷物を減らしたくなってくると、 やはり収納時の大きさが気になるが、快適さとトレードオフだろう。 色もミリタリーテイストな渋い感じで良い。
