I had an overly stretched out feeling while riding my Lectric XP 3.0. On the new 4.0 version, they chose a different stem to solve this issue. Some riders swapped out their stem and bar for a BMX setup. But, others recommended this bar and it's perfect! Of all available choices, it's the least expensive, performs well and fits best with the original styling of the bike. Riding position with these bars is upright, the bike lends itself to that by default. I'm about 5'9" and I can reach the handlebars with a slight bend in my arms, where I was basically riding around with my arms fully extended on the stock bar. These are much more comfortable. The black color matches the original bars perfectly, if you like how these bikes look, you'll probably still like it with this handlebar installed. This handlebar has a noticeable backsweep to it, but that's why it's more comfortable and how it reduces reach. Pictures show before and after. The Lectric XP is a heavy bike with electric assist. I'm not counting grams on this bike. The specifications say this handlebar weighs 260 Grams. I did not confirm on a scale. It's up to you if that's a lot or not, to me it's fine. it feels normal in the hands, about the same as the stock bar it replaces. Installation? It's a handlebar. The job to swap bars on the Lectric XP is a little more involved than on a non-electric bike, but if you've got a set of allen keys you'll get it done quickly.

This handlebar is a great fit for my bike. Very reasonable price. I cannot ride on a bike if I have to lean over too much like with the straight handlebar that came on the bike. This one had the right amount of rise and was very easy to install. I also like that it is aluminum instead of steel as it adds less weigh to the bike.

Swapped the straight bars for something with more sweep. Was looking at Jones or Moloko bars, but wasn’t sure I would like a big sweep and didn’t wanna spend the $$$ in case I didn’t like it. These were 1/4 the price of the other two, so I took a shot. I like them. They have a nice ride and good sweep. They put me in a more upright position, but not so dramatic it feels too cruiser. I added some ergo grips, and that helps, too. As some mentioned, these could be wider. I’ll keep them on this season, but might take the dive and go for the Jones next season.

I own an Ozone midtown bike, purchased for its looks and features. First thing I did, was to replace the seat with a wide seat bought here. The bike turned out to be very uncomfortable to ride, and the handlebar was straight and could not be adjusted up or down. Also, it's particular design made the stem irreplaceable. Urban Road Bike Bicycle Retro Handlebar was the solution. It matched my bike perfectly, and replacing it was easy. I positioned it to my liking, and it was perfect. I can once again ride in comfort, without strain to reach the handlebar. Great purchase, highly recommended.

I had a set of flat bars and a really long stem on my Raleigh hybrid bike that made riding quite uncomfortable (well, a frame size too big and a really hard seat too). I figured that I needed to just get a different bike and start over. Well, coronavirus happened and I couldn't sell my bike. So, I decided to spend a few bucks on some parts and upgrade what I had to see if it would help. I went from a 100mm step to a 35mm stem, flat 670mm handlebars with no rise to these handlebars (I think they are roughly the same width) with a couple inch rise. The bike feels completely different. Yes, it's still a bit big for me, but I am not leaned so far over that my back and neck hurt anymore. I just wanted to go out riding with my wife on super casual rides (8-10mph, shorts and flops, bike trails, etc). These bars are an improvement over my old for 2 reasons. First, they are a couple inches taller and have a swept back design that's probably 4" closer to me than flat bars. Couple this with the shorter stem and I'm sitting nice and upright rather than leaned forward. Second improvement is more handlebar real estate - I have more space for a bell, computer, accessories, etc. Although they are ~670mm wide, they are closer to 800mm if you measure all the usable space you've got. Pretty neat! Obviously these won't work well for your road bike or mountain bike, but for touring or cruising, these are great! Weight wise, they feel similar to the flat bars I took off, but I honestly didn't weigh them. They seem durable and if anything happens, I'll update here, but as of today, I've ridden with them for quite a few rides and am pleased.

I installed them upside down (purposefully) and am very satisfied with the result; I can get into a more horizontal posture without bending my wrists awkwardly, and without replacing lots of parts on my bike to get drop bars. The bike now looks like a 1960s cafe racer, too! The only disadvantage is that, without the hoods of a drop bar, sprinting or climbing while standing is awkward with the far reach that these handlebars require. I should also mention that I cut a few centimeters off the ends of this handlebar

It was quite a cheap price, so I honestly wasn't expecting much. If anything, these would be a bridge to another set of handlebars at a later date. Surprise, surprise, they arrived solidly built and flawless, plus the black matched my bike exactly. Certainly a more upright riding position than before, with less pressure on my wrists and palms. I may opt for something even more swept back at a later date, but these will satisfy me for quite a long time I'm sure.

I swapped my ebike straight handlebar for this one, and it took all the weight off my arms.. love it!

I was a bit hesitant that the price was so low for these but figured I’d give them a try. The handlebars that came with my upright step-through eBike are typical “flat” mountain bike handlebars and resulted in an uncomfortable posture. I wanted something to add a bit of elevation as well as backward sweep. These are just right. The dimensions given are all accurate. The finish on these is fantastic and exactly matched the Bontrager bars they replace. Top points! (The first photo shows me holding up the new bars compared to the stock ones, so you can see the additional sweep. The second and third photos are the bars this review is for, installed.)
