Denon Home Subwoofer – Home Theater Subwoofer with Deep, Powerful Bass, 8" Bass-Reflex Woofer, Wireless Streaming, Pair 150/250/350 Speakers & Sound Bar, Multi-Room Support, Black

I recently purchased the HEOS 150 and 250 for various rooms in my home and I had my eye on the Subwoofer to add to the collection. However I had some sticker shock when I saw the price. So I searched for a slightly used one in "acceptable" condition and it was much better than I could have hoped for. I have paired it with the 250 in my kitchen and the bass rattles the windows at certain volumes. Works perfectly with the HEOS app and Apple Air Play 2. After some tuning, I am VERY happy with my purchase and fully agree that this sub performs just as good if not better than a comparable wired Subwoofer. Glad to have found this at a discount but would very much consider paying original price for it. Thanks Denon for making another fine product to compliment the other speakers in the HEOS lineup!

I have Bose cube speakers that need to be driven by the av receiver power. I have the speakers mounted in the ceiling corners of our room. They sound as good today as they did when I bought our original surround sound system 15 years ago. I want to say that I may be wrong before I say this, but...the speakers Denon suggested I use with their subwoofer and av receiver need to be plugged in. And I'm sure they work well with the proper av receiver and subwoofer. But the speakers I have are perfectly fine and there is no way I'm running a power cord from the speaker to the power outlet on the wall. So, just be careful if you are looking at Denon. It did not work for me. But I'm sure it's all good with the proper system.

Paired this with the Denon sound-bar under my flat-screen and WOW... Everything I wanted for listening to music and of course with any TV or movie. Works very well to fill the entire basement of my home with sound. Plenty of power and superb sound quality. Bass is clean and crystal clear with no distortion even at full volume. You won't be disappointed with this quality product. Easy to connect with my existing components.

Easy setup with HEOS, sounds great!

The Denon speaker works great, has incredible sound, and is really solid. However, for streaming, you primarily have to use the HEOS app, which is pathetic. See the app reviews on the Google Play store before buying any Denon speakers. Based on the app, I do NOT recommend Denon speakers or any other devices that rely on the Heos app.

Excellent build finish and sound. Movies and music sound great paired with the Denon sound bar. This sub rocks our tv room.

Can’t use directly from Air Play 2 devices. The subwoofer requires HEOS speakers to work.

Very impressed with the sound quality

I bought this to pair with a Denon Home 350 (which is fantastic). I was dismayed to find that the Home 350 sounded better alone. Sure, there is more bass with this subwoofer, but it has a bit of a boominess to it which makes it stand out in a bad way. It is attractively designed, but very cheaply made, whereas the Home 350 is built like a tank. The bass per dollar ratio is one star at full price, but I paid $350 CAD for it thus the three stars. Fortunately Amazon is great about returns.

Arrived ahead of schedule, well packaged This subwoofer was very simple to install and set up in HEOS app. The sound is strong in my average sized living area, clear and rumbling. this Sub is amazing and complements my other HEOS speakers

I spent over an hour on the phone with Denon tech support, they couldn’t get it working told me to send it back. That was December 28, I shipped it back to Amazon on December 29th. It’s January 24th I still haven’t received the refund even though Amazon say they’re received it. Bad service!
