I still need to keep everything plugged in and running 24/7, but I also wanted to make sure little hands (or even curious pets) couldn’t mess with the cords—and this does exactly that. One thing I really appreciated is that it comes with two different faceplates, so you can pick the one that fits your outlet style best. Installation was super quick—just a screwdriver and maybe 2 minutes. PROS: -Perfect for outlets that stay in use, like for my security system -Comes with two interchangeable cover plates, so it fits multiple outlet types -Double-door design makes it easy for me to open, but keeps it secure from kids -Fits regular and bulky plugs without forcing or bending cords -Sturdy build—feels durable and safe CONS: -It does stick out a little from the wall—not a dealbreaker, but worth mentioning -Might be a tight fit for extra-wide or odd-shaped plugs (mine fit fine)

TL;DR: 7/10. Does a good job making outlets less interesting and accessible to my toddler, but its bulk creates a potential concern if a child grabs it and puts their weight on it. I have a very curious 16-month-old who loves touching outlets. Even though I already have tamper-resistant receptacles (TRRs), I wanted something that would make the outlets less interesting and accessible to her. This largely fits the bill. It’s bulky, but that’s understandable since it needs to accommodate large power adapters. The opening mechanism also feels secure enough that I don’t expect my toddler to figure it out anytime soon. My main concern is how far the cover protrudes from the wall. If my daughter grabbed it and put her weight on it, I worry about the leverage potentially pulling the cover or receptacle away from the wall. It’s secured using the standard outlet-cover screw, so I wouldn’t personally use it somewhere my toddler could regularly grab or climb on it unsupervised. Overall, 7/10. It accomplishes what I bought it for, but I wish it felt more secure against the wall. I also think it’s somewhat expensive. At around $8 per cover, I’d probably rate it closer to an 8.5/10.

Easy to install and stopped my baby from unplugging things.

Absolutely amazing. My child can rip cords right out from the wall so this is an absolute game changer. It is not easy for a child to open as you have to hold in two buttons at once. But it is easy for adults to use. It is very secure and extremely difficult to try and move it (trying to take it off the wall entirely by pulling) so I know it will hold up for a long time. Works well with any outlet as they give 2 different type of plates for adaptions. Instead of getting those clear outlet protectors that can be easily taken out I would suggest getting these instead that offer total protection and can 100% not be removed unless you have a screwdriver. Definitely worth it and will be purchasing a lot more for my entire house.

Our little guy graduated from his four-walled crib to the "toddler crib" with the open side. Now that he can come and go as he pleases we needed something to prevent him from plugging devices (such as his fan) in and out of his outlets. This cover box is fantastic and worked exactly as we had hoped. PROS: + Easy & quick installation. Anyone can do it. + Lots of room inside to tuck away some of the cord and not have the entire length coming out of the box. + The way in which it is opened (pressing in on the top and bottom at the same time) is great as most kids shouldn't be able to figure it out until they are older. + Very sturdy. CONS: - Not as much room when both outlets are being used but can still be done. Can be a problem if you are using plugs that stick out a fair bit from the wall. Great product. Highly recommended!

I like how much they fit inside of them and most importantly my toddler wasn't and hasn't been able to figure it out. After a couple of minutes of testing it he moved on from the outlet that he had been going at for a couple of weeks and hasn't been interested in it since we put this outlet box on it. It opens and closes pretty easily as well, and it isn't very unsightly. Being of opaque plastic is good to as not being able to look inside of this has deterred any interest from our son. It's worked so well that I've come back and bought a second one. I've knocked it down a star because I do feel that it is a bit more expensive than I feel it should be.

Honestly what a genius product. This installation was so easy, all you have to do is unscrew your original outlet plate and then place the cover on and then the outlet plate that is provided and your done. The only downfall is it’s not super wide so if you have one of those outlet plugs that always you to plug more than two items it at once, it’s two wide for that. But it will work for items that have a wider base, I have my Amazon echo plugged into it and there’s still space. My daughter is a little too young to pay attention to it yet but it seems like it would be slightly complicated for younger kids to figure out as you have to pull each side in the opposite direction to open it.
