Really great tool. I was meeting some thing to remove nails from an oddly constructed antique cabinet, and both a hammer claw and a cat paw were really too big. This was absolutely perfect. One tip: for really tiny nails wedge deep into the wood, you may need to angle this against the nail and tap very lightly with a hammer until it fully wedges underneath the nail head. Worked like a charm! I have a feeling it’s going to come in handy for other things as well. Just a good handy tool in general.

This was purchased after much research on upholstering and associated tools as I was preparing to do a D-I-Y on my damaged sofa. This tack puller made the job so much easier since I tried to reupholster my ottoman prior to this purchase and wound up sending it to a professional because I could not get out some of the tacks and staples - needless to say I paid a great deal for the service. Because of my research, I had also purchased the double-ended mallet which further assisted the removal for those staples that were more deeply embedded. I just used the corner if the tip and gently struck the end with the mallet and it was pried out. Those times when only one end came out, I had to use a set of pliers but I did achieve the desired end result. It feels very sturdy and comfortable, handles like a regular screwdriver but does the job surprisingly well, without having to apply too much force. The tip also held out on those really difficult staples without any dent and barely any scratches. It is my first day of use but I was pretty impressed for the price I paid but I don't expect much change with continuous use though.

The only negative is that where it makes a curve it needs to be more curved, the rest everything is great

Perfect for pulling staples

I needed something to get nail removal started. This was cheap and the right shape. I've beat on and abused this thing to no end, even loosening the first little bit of 16 penny nails. I cannot believe it has not bent or broken. Easily on par with the Old School Craftsman ones I have that I cannot locate. Although I think the handle on this one is just slightly less comfortable. I really need to get a couple extras of these.

I bought this to remove staples from canvas stretchers, so I can re-stretch my canvas and make it tighter. The tip of this tool is nice and thin yet hard and slips under any staple. I just rock the tool left and right till the staple pops up and comes out.
