Polarized Clip-on Flip Up Metal Clip Rimless Sunglasses for Prescription Glasses

Fits my glasses well. Love that they flip up and can stay on my glasses so I don’t have to take them off and on. Do a great job in sunlight as well as night with headlights. I have vertigo and protects my eyes from the sun without making it dark like regular sunglasses.

Honestly in my opinion these are better for daytime than they are at night time. For me I don't care for them at night time because it makes it a little bit darker. But for daytime it's perfect for me. The functionality is great and they also look pretty good.

Update: The review I placed below is still correct. They are polarized. However, they made absolutely no difference driving at night. Headlights were still as bright, star burst, and blinding as usual. The only difference is that the lights turned yellow instead of white. But it was still just as blinding as it was without the glasses. I'm sure they'd work well for other things, but unfortunately night driving is not one of them -- at least for me. I changed my review to 3 stars because they are real/polarized, but not effective for what most people buy yellow tinted polarized lens for. I wanted to come here, specifically, to address the "they're not polarized" claims. I can't speak for others, but I tested my yellow night glasses and they ARE polarized. Now, will this actually help me with driving? I don't know, I'll come back if I remember and I'll let you know. The only thing I'm worried about is that they do feel quite bendy and fragile. I don't feel like these will last long unless you are super careful with them. However, I literally just pulled them out of the packaging and haven't even driven with them yet so I could be wrong. I mainly just wanted to come back and let others know that they in fact are polarized. Look up the correct way to check if your glasses are polarized, there's very easy and simple instructions on YouTube. If they break, they break. It's not expensive and it is as advertised.

There was no noticeable improvement in night vision using the yellow lenses. I bought these glasses specifically to reduce the glare from oncoming headlights, and there was literally no improvement. The primary problem is that the polarization on the yellow lenses is completely ineffective and very weak. When I wear my normal polarized sunglasses, I cannot see the HUD in my car; with the yellow lenses, I can easily view the HUD with no change in visibility. Also, when I rotate the yellow lenses against my polarized sunglasses, there is barely any change in the light transmitted (I should be able to completely block out the light by rotating the lenses so that the polarization is perpendicular to each other from the 2 pairs of glasses). Since I bought these to help with nighttime glare, I will be returning these lenses since they don't help at all.

I've taken to not driving at night due to oncoming headlight glare. I haven't tried these at the darkest part of night, but wore them yesterday during a rainstorm at twilight. I did notice a little less glare, but the surprising feature was that the lenses made things brighter. The world was gray without and less gray with. They are slightly cumbersome where they clip on my prescription glasses, but that just tells me they are not flimsy and will last. My glasses have a thick plastic frame and the clip goes over them well and stays in place. They did not weigh down my glasses at all. The only bad comment I have is the case. You get a plastic case and that goes into a leatherette slip case. The plastic case is extremely hard to open. I had to use a screw driver the first time. My husband managed but he had a very hard time. I have ditched the plastic case and will store the clip in another case I already had.
