I used this product to replace 4 (ea) (30 Amp) automotive mini fuses in a 1000 watt inverter. The OEM manufacturer fuses had the 30 amp fuses tabs soldered onto the circuit board, could not pull them out like in a automobile fuse box. I soldered the wire leads onto the female spade end connectors that I had purchased. The original 30 amp fuses blew when I connected 12V battery (+) to (-) and (-) to (+). What a genuine hose up on my part. Seems to work good, even though the fuse holder is a little bulky.

Quality material and does the job.

Just received them , have not installed them yet. The thermoplastic shell locking tab seems flexible enough at 65 degrees to be unlocked repeatedly without fear that it might break . At 20 degrees it may pay to warm it up with a heat gun or hairdryer , to give it a chance. All such locking devices are prone to braking in extremely cold weather irrespective of manufacturers brand names , also it helps to not force them unnecessarily. The seals are respectively good the included fuse is the maximum range for this holder which can be used for as little as 1 AMP. I give it a 4 star because the socket female spade terminals are not made of brass , they appear to be nickel or zinc plated ferrous alloy which is not as conductive as brass and more prone to oxidation when exposed to moisture...injecting a small amount of dielectric grease into them is my strong advice , when the fuse is inserted into them it will increase the contact area between the two and keep both form forming oxidation . When possible install these in a area that is not too warm or hot. Because they are sealed they do not vent , therefore condensation could form inside of them simply because of the temperature differential of extreme heat while in use and extreme cold after use ...dielectric grease in the mating surfaces minimizes that problem if a cooler area for them is not easily available.

Knowing they will do the job they are intended for, they are heavy duty, made well and will handle the electrical load that they are rated at. Value for the money. Thanks
