My view favorite strings for 7 string
These string are some of the best. They feel amazing and sound nasty. There heavy enough to go in low tunings like Drop G and even Drop F#, but also tight enough for B standard and Drop A. The best tuning for these is probably Drop G# with is my favorite tuning.

Great strings as always
Actually bought these for my 6 string because I thought they were good for some lower tunings, these are great strings and I love Ernie Balls and has been using them ever since I started playing guitar, but recently started to play some songs that would be in a lower tuning like drop A# etc, the sound is great as always.

Classic
These are the preferred ernies I use for 7 strings. The feel good on the lower tunings and don't get too floppy. Easy bend and pinches through the entire fretboard.

Great Ernie ball has always delivered
Great strings as expected Ernie ball has always delivered for me but I didn’t keep them on my guitar for long I put them on a 6 string Les Paul cause I wanted a low b string, so I left off the high e string. The nut groove wasn’t big enough for the low b string so it didn’t intonate correctly and I relaxed them with some light gauge Ernie balls strings. Lasted as long as I had them on it and were quick to install.

Great sound!
I purchased after trying another brand. I was having issues keeping the guitar in tune with thinner gauge strings. Every time I went to drop A tuning my 7-string guitar would not stay in tune until I put these strings on. They sound great and no more tuning issues or intonation issues. I was reluctant on putting on such a big gauge but they fit. I had tried a different brand first that was a little thinner and they did not work well. The standard Ernie Ball's were not thick enough, but having just the heavy bottom end really made the difference.

Good strings.
I mean, they're pretty much a classic by now. Some hate them, some love them. I've been using slinkies for 20 years, and sure they don't last as long as some other brands, but they also don't cost $20.
