This Brabantia bin is a simple, good quality and robust design.I haven't got room for a large bin in my kitchen but this one is a good compromise being a reasonable size that fits on the kitchen counter. I use mine for general kitchen waste but it would also work well as a recycling bin.The bin has a decent carrying handle and well-fitting hinged lid. It is designed to work best with Brabantia's own brand of bin liners and although those are more expensive than supermarket brands, they are definitely great quality. These are strong, have a tie handle, fit snuggly and give the bin a tidy appearance.The bin keeps pretty clean when using the matching bin liners but is also easy to wash and dry if needed. The liners can be got at a reasonable price if you buy in bulk but you can use supermarket brands instead albeit with some loss of quality.This bin is good quality and well-suited to my needs. It's not the cheapest price but it has lasted four years so far with no signs of wear and tear.I'm pleased with this purchase.

Used as a nappy bin for our reusable nappies. Perfect size!! Just what I really needed. Most bins/buckets sold as nappy bins are either 14 or 16L size which I find too small since ive been filling up 2x 10L washing up basins. This 25L bin is an excellent choice. Size and colour are discreet enough when put under our bathroom sink plus it really keeps the odour in. Super easy to put nappies in. Just lift the flap with one hand and let it go and voila. No fuss when you’re in a hurry to put a poopy nappy away. Takes about 3 days to fill it up which is just the right amount of time before we wash them (approx 5 nappies/day) No more stressing because of a smelly bathroom when the bin is overflowing! One happy and very satisfied mom! :) easy to clean too and with a handy handle. Not sure how sturdy it is and at first i thought it was a little thinner or flimsier feel than i expected so i dropped a star but there is a 10 year warranty with brabantia :)
