Review: Great book to read - This book is so well written that it's a great read for anyone interested in skincare, cosmetics, hair products or even perfume. It explains how to use it and what each product is for. How you can even make your own products at home with basic home ingredients. It explains how and which each product is for, for example I didn't know the difference between a facial cream and moisturiser? It sure has allot of content and with allot if explanation. Loved how you can easily at home make your own facial cleanser or hair mask. It even takes about makeup and how you can do contours etc. Definitely a great book and a good read. Recommend it. Review: Very informative - I really enjoyed reading both books. Lots of different recipes, perfect for a beginner.

This book is terrible, I think it was written by a bot.
There are a lot of bad books in this sector of the market, and this definitely one one of them. The author is repetitive, incoherent, contradictory, and at times makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. The whole book is a string of clichรฉs held together by pseudoscience and unsubstantiated claims. There is nothing original, it has all been said a million times, but unfortunately that does not equate to verifiable facts. The author (if they even exist in physical form) does not even agree with themself from one sentence to the next about what constitutes a natural ingredient, and frequently claims natural status for things that absolutely are not, eg Phenoxyethanol. One particular factual (easily verifiable, and totally unacceptable) error (amongst many) is the assertion that salicylic acid is a steroid, when it is quite firmly in the category of Non-Steroidal Anti-inflammatory Drugs. I could on forever, there is so much material to take apart here, but I don't think the bot will really care what I think. I sincerely hope that no one has actually paid (the extortionate asking price) of this sloppy work of half truths, downright falsehoods, and just awful drivel.

Very informative !
I really liked how the author explain the steps in a very easily way ๐. Anyone who is interested into natural skincare care can benefit from this book. I would have appreciated if the author would also inform us on which vitamin we shouldn't mix together or is likely to cause irritation. Otherwise I would recommend anyone to purchase this book.

Wonderful Book
Excellent presentation of information. The formula's or recipes are simple and easy to use. I have not used any of them but instead the book gave me the foundation I was looking for to produce my own. I am a Master Distiller studying the history of spirits and how they were used for much more than just drinking. I forage all kinds of herbs and flowers and now produce all kinds of herbal medicine, essential oils, hydrosols, skins care products and perfumes in the way they were made back in the 17th and 18th century. This book helped me a lot in getting to various levels.

Appropriate easy to use and well put book. The type of information here is better than going to school as esthetician.
