Review: Maxi-Guard was a Miracle Worker - We have a 1 1/2 year old female Maine Coon cat. Even at this young age, she had very bad gingivitis which in Maine Coons can often result in stomatitus which will ultimately require all of the cats teeth to be extracted - a very sad situation. Fortunately a friend of mine (also a Maine Coon owner) was familiar with Maxi-Guard and suggested I try it. Fortunately Roxie our cat was willing to let us apply the product to her gums on a nightly basis (with the help of a treat or two). Withing three months, all signs of gingivitis were gone. Our pet dentist was amazed and now recommends Maxi-Guard to his other patients in a similare situation. I totally believe that Maxi-Guard prevented us having to remove all of Roxie's teeth. Review: Veterinarian recommended. - Veterinarians love to make money. One of my cats has a dental cleaning almost annually. The 13.5-yr-old has had 2 separate extractions (the second due to reabsorptive lesions). The young one is prone to gum inflammation. The vet is amazing, and recommended this about 8 months ago. I trust his judgement, especially when he said this product will keep their teeth and gums healthy. Maybe that’s why I haven’t brushed them daily this year. I haven’t noticed anything amazing, but I also don’t see any increase in inflammation. I plan on keeping this on hand. ## Features - CLEANS TEETH: fights plaque and tartar and eliminates bad breath - SAFE for daily and long-term use - NO BRUSHING NECESSARY - TRUSTED AND USED BY VETERINARIANS around the world - POWERED BY ZINC AND VITAMIN C: promotes oral hygiene and defends against periodontal disease - Age range description: All Life Stages - Included components: bottle, Vitamin C vial ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B08DG86M3D | | Age Range Description | All Life Stages | | Age range (description) | All Life Stages | | Allergen Information | Abalone Free | | Best Sellers Rank | #18,767 in Pet Supplies ( See Top 100 in Pet Supplies ) #96 in Dog Dental Care #439 in Cat Health Supplies | | Brand | Maxi-Guard | | Brand Name | Maxi-Guard | | Capacity | 118 ml | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 out of 5 stars 163 Reviews | | Flavor | Other | | Flavour | Other | | Global Trade Identification Number | 10857672003887 | | Included Components | bottle, Vitamin C vial | | Item Dimensions | 44 x 57 x 140 millimeters | | Item Form | Gel | | Item Nype Name | Gel | | Item Weight | 0.33 Pounds | | Item form | Gel | | Manufacturer | Addison Labs | | Manufacturer Part Number | 4109-0 | | Material Features | Natural | | Material Type Free | Abalone Free | | Material features | Natural | | Material type free | Abalone Free | | Model Number | 4109-0 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Package Quantity | 1 | | Package Type Name | Bottle | | Product Benefits | Eliminates Bad Breath | | Recommended Uses For Product | Daily teeth cleaning, plaque and tartar removal, bad breath elimination, oral hygiene promotion | | Target Audience | Pet Owners (All Life Stages) | | UPC | 857672003880 802679100018 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Age range (description):** All Life Stages - **Brand:** Maxi-Guard - **Flavour:** Other - **Item form:** Gel - **Material type free:** Abalone Free ## Images ![Dental Cleaning Gel for Dogs, Cats, Horses, Exotics and Companion Animals (4oz), Light Blue/White - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51RA7p3wi6L.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Style** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Maxi-Guard was a Miracle Worker *by G***K on 13 March 2025* We have a 1 1/2 year old female Maine Coon cat.
