Review: My favorite pen, feels luxury and writes smooth - I freaking love this pen. The weight is just right, not too heavy but heavy enough to feel like a real luxury pen and not some cheap throwaway. The titanium finish looks sleek and professional, and the bolt action is really satisfying to click. It’s the kind of pen you just want to keep using. The ink flows smooth and it writes really good. No skipping or smudging, just clean consistent lines every time. I’ve used it for work, notes, and even just doodling during meetings and it’s been perfect. It honestly makes writing feel nicer, like you want to keep writing just because of the way it feels in hand. The only “problem” I have is keeping it from disappearing. Every time someone borrows it they comment on how nice it is and I can tell they want to walk off with it. I’ve actually started keeping a close eye on it because I don’t want to lose it, haha. Overall this is hands down my favorite pen I’ve owned. It feels premium, it writes smoothly, and it’s durable enough to be a daily carry pen. Definitely worth it if you want something that looks sharp and feels even better in your hand.

It's machined so well that It's impossible to see the seam where the tip of the pen screws into the barrel. It looks like the pen is one continuous piece of titanium. The bolt action mechanism is smooth and sure. It seems like it'll last a good long while. I've been fidgeting with the bolt-action constantly for the last two weeks since I've gotten the pen and it's showing no signs of wear or deterioration in performance. The model I got is the slim version and it fits in my hand like a typical Parker Jotter, but a lot more substantial, with a good heftiness. The price is much better than comparable pens from another Texas-based company, but the quality seems to be the same. It's supposed to take all Parker G2 type ink refills, but that's not the case. I've tried: 1) Monteverde Capless Gel Ballpoint Refill to Fit Parker Ballpoint Pens, Fine Point, Blue, 2 per Pack (P422BU) 2) Gel Ink Refills Blue 0.5mm Compatible Parker G2 Type Pelican Fibercastle S.T. Dupont Visconti Monte Grappa Monte Delta Fischer KAWECO Marlen Omas Smith & Wesson Schaeffer Porsche iungo They both do not fit in this pen. No worries. There are plenty of other choices available on desertcart. The Parker refill fits just fine though (PARKER QUINK Ballpoint Pen Gel Ink Refills, Medium Tip, Blue, 2 Count) My final thoughts: I love writing with this pen! I use it every day. **Q: Why is there a gap, above the plunger, on the SS and Titanium versions when the plunger is depressed...but not on the Al versions?**
A: The part that rides inside of the pen is shaped different. On the aluminum pens it has a rounded top that fills that gap while on steel and titanium versions the same piece has a flat top, leaving a gap when pen is deployed. Probably do to the way the parts are machined.

**Q: does this use a 0.7mm refill size? or can it? I like writing with my Zebra F-301 which uses a 0.7mm refill as the strokes are very fine.**
A: Yes it does as I use both pens. The feel is different but if you like Zebra then you will also enjoy the Bastion. Bastion is darker.

**Q: Is the entire pen titanium (barrel & clip) ?**
A: The entire pen is titanium. Has a heft to it and yet not heavy.

**Q: How much does the pen weigh?**
A: Aluminum 2.6 oz ,stainless steel 2.8oz  and titanium 1.6oz. I hope that helps.

I freaking love this pen. The weight is just right, not too heavy but heavy enough to feel like a real luxury pen and not some cheap throwaway. The titanium finish looks sleek and professional, and the bolt action is really satisfying to click. It’s the kind of pen you just want to keep using. The ink flows smooth and it writes really good. No skipping or smudging, just clean consistent lines every time. I’ve used it for work, notes, and even just doodling during meetings and it’s been perfect. It honestly makes writing feel nicer, like you want to keep writing just because of the way it feels in hand. The only “problem” I have is keeping it from disappearing. Every time someone borrows it they comment on how nice it is and I can tell they want to walk off with it. I’ve actually started keeping a close eye on it because I don’t want to lose it, haha. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best pen EVER! Glad I got the “slim” one.

Provided you don’t lose it, this is the last pen you’ll ever need. Seriously, it is so incredibly sturdy. I expect it will outlast me and my children and my grandchildren. The machining is incredibly precise, the design is elegant and simple. I’m so glad I got the slim one because it is still plenty thick. it is about the standard diameter of a regular pen. I see that some reviews had trouble with the ink. I have had no issues whatsoever, and it seems to work like a regular Parker. i’m sure many people are buying this as a “tactical “ pen and certainly it is strong enough to serve as a weapon. However, I am fortunately, enough that I don’t think I will ever have to stab someone with this pen. More important to me is how lovely it is to use every day as an actual pen. If you have ever had the misfortune of a pocket full of ink, you will appreciate the design of this pen, which is both easy to deploy, but also easy to use and will not extend by accident the push button pens can. I also appreciate the very sturdy pocket clip because I actually like to clip a pen into my pants pocket the way many people do with their pocket knives. The only possible downside is the weight which feels very nice to use, but a little heavy in my pocket. Perhaps it would’ve been worth it to go with the titanium one, but the beauty of the stainless steel pen is truly remarkable. As you will see in my video, it appears to be a single piece of stainless steel until you unscrew the tip for ink replacement.
