I just received this item today. The box it came in was good. The instructions were very illusive, maybe not for my exact model, and I took a leap figuring you can't screw it up that bad.I ordered this case because 1- I wanted 360° protection with a built-in screen protector, 2-waterproof but not so much as I need to swim with it, just so when I get water on it (all the time) it's not getting into ports and speakers. And 3- I chose this particular brand case because it had the least product weight. I wanted protection but not to make it bulky, (which I knew I couldn't avoid) and not to make it heavier. The case is very lightweight, more so than all my other 360° cases with built-in screen protectors.The extra items were a bonus for me, I received a wrist lanyard (I was thinking it would be a full sized but no worries), a finger ring holder to attach to the back, but the description stated "kick stand" and the photo shows a stick kick stand, I'm not mad, I like the ring better, but just a note in case someone was looking forward to the kick stand stick.The description, photo and installation instructions also show it comes with a cloth, but I received 2 wipes, #1 wet and #2 dry. Not upset, just noting that there are some inconsistentcies in the listing description as well as the installation instructions.Overall since installation this morning, I am very pleased, it took a while to get rid of the streaks on the case, but I am happy with the actual product and what and how it is delivering what I wanted. Plus the price is lower than most others. I recommend this product!

When I first got my Galaxy S8 I bought the Lifeproof FRĒ case with it. After my volume buttons stopped working while in the case I started shopping around and came across this case. Even after reading reviews I was a little skeptical for the price (I had the mindset of you get what you pay for), I am SO GLAD I bought this case!!! It's way better than the Lifeproof and a fraction of the price!-passed waterproof test with flying colors-screen is far more functional than in the Lifeproof-screen covering allows clearer photos than the Lifeproof-bumper feels super sturdy

I got this product for my galaxy s8 after I had 2 get broken in the lifeproof cases. Those cases were completely unharmed but my s8 bith time was completely shattered front and back from a 3 ft fall onto tile. This is my third meritcase for my two s8's. Very sturdy. My phones fit snug. Ports are well sealed. Mine and my kids lives are pretty rough and tumble ams.we do lots of messy things and these cases really hold up and keep my phone safe. The reason for this 3rd case is I left my phone on my car and drove off like an idiot. Phone of course tried to chase me but since it wasn't fast enough I had to come back for it. There was a slight inner crack around the charge port. That's it!!! Nothing more. No scuffs, the screen protector was still intact. My phone was pristine. Can't say enough. Meritcase has my vote and my business

I spent 2 days on search for a good case for my new galaxy S8.. this was not for a plus or note. I hope they have all u others covered.This was my pick and holy sweet Jesus... I am so happy.got the glass screen protected, the entire phone for that matter.water-proof.. don't know if I might fall in a lake or pool but I'm covered.screen screen sensitivity... is awesome like nothing is even there.Fits... perfect. nice. tight. grips better than stock.durability... so far a 10+I'm a general contractor and in construction work... in work mode this case has already proven my $800 phone has survived.dropped climbing an extension ladder at 10 feet... safe. (dismount landed on concrete not pillows)paint on screen & case cleaned w/ 91% rubbing alcohol... safe.these are all my personal tests not prescribed or intended.so far so good and I grade this cover w/ an A+

This phonecase was a little different then I expected. When I first got it I thought it was a regular phone case with a built in screen protector, but it turned out it was also waterproof. The waterproof is nice but the added protection on the fingerprint scanner and speaker is a little annoying, but works great and is still functional if you like waterproof cases. The only real problem for me is the fingerprint scanner on the back is hard to use. You really have to push your whole finger hard into the slot to get your fingerprint read with this case on. Other then that, the covers for the charger and audio jack are great they bend easy and go back, plus this case works with wireless charging. If you were looking for a phonecase with a kickstand this one sucks it's a kickstand that you stick to the back but it falls off a lot.

This case is great so far. Especially for the price. I had an otterbox defender case before which was priced quite a lot and I think this case is much better. I have only dropped it once so far and it looked fine where as my case before would break a bit every time I dropped it and so I only had it a few months until I got this one for my s8. I love ot so much. The screen works perfectly even though I was supposed to push all the air out before closing it properly. It's just difficult to reopen and also so easy to get dust in it when applying to phone so Ive just left it the way it is for now. The screen even works on the curved bits and feels nice to tap. The rest of the case is great also, feels great, looks great and so far works great. Buttons work awesome as well. Love the lanyard and ring that comes with it also. I can also see the back of my phone now which is gold so it also feels more premium. Camera still works great aswell. I really can't find anything to complain about this case but if I do I'll be sure to let you know. The only thing was the cloth that it comes with to wipe your screen sucks. All it did was move dust around and so I spent like over half an hour making it dust free for my case. The cloth is too small and there really should be a wet one that comes with it because that makes it easier so I would recommend getting some cloths seperately to have a better experience. Other than that 10/10!!!

Recently bought the waterproof Merit Case for Samsung s8. I cannot recommend it any higher than 5 stars but rest assured, it’s amazing! It comes with a built in screen protector which allows easy use of all volume and touch screen functions as per usual. I did the test, enclosing paper towel within the case, then submerge the merit case in a bowl of water overnight, weighted down. Paper was bone dry and case wiped dry so easily. Rubber seals are tight and perform well. Inserting the phone was hassle free and it comes with a bonus wrist lanyard. Merit case all the way!

The box case was ripped, the phone case is dirty. It was attempted to be clean however dirty smears all over the product. Completely ripped off.
