I bought a pack of three. Unpacked one, put in the B22 holder and switched on. It was lite up like a 1watt bulb. Thought to follow the manufacturers instruction and let it charged for more than 6 hours. Tried to check, and put off the power supply. The same performance of 1 Watt light. Huh, Exhausted. Lost the belief in the product. Tried to return it but shows only replacement option. Contacted amazon and they agreed to refund and to dispose the product. But I tried the other two and working properly. Really willing to pay the cost of the 2 good ones

TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY: DEFECTIVE AND DANGEROUS
Bought Orient Electric 12W Rechargeable Emergency Bulb expecting backup during power cuts. What I got instead is a bulb that NEVER switches off. As soon as I received and tested it, the bulb stays ON 24x7. Switch off the wall button? Still on. Remove it from the holder? Still glowing like it’s possessed. I can’t sleep, can’t save battery, can’t use it for its actual purpose. What’s the point of calling it an “emergency bulb” if it creates an emergency in my electricity bill and my mental peace? The whole concept of “rechargeable” is useless when it refuses to turn off and drains itself dead. All my money = wasted. Purpose = destroyed. Quality check = zero. Orient, this is not a bulb, it’s a nightlight from hell that I didn’t ask for. Immediate replacement or full refund. Don’t buy unless you want your room lit up like a Diwali mela every single night.
