Whenever I use this particular type of mask, I find that they are sometimes not as sturdy and the tie straps tend to break easily when tightening. However, this brand has never given me any problems. They tie, tightening and re-tie with ease. I have not had one strap to break due to routine use. The quality of these masks are really comfortable to use. Will continue to purchase.

The masks are Good, good quality, no odd industrial smell for sensitive individuals, head ties are long enough for all heads.However, the box it comes in and how the masks themselves are packaged, makes it difficult to remove a mask from the package. The box is poorly designed from a functional standpoint, there being no cutout window.

I bought this because it could give a snugger fit with the ties. Regular surgical masks are too loose on my narrow face. But, the problem is that because the straps are not made from a stretchy material like the common ear loops, it feels like it is tugging anytime I move. I only tried one and was disappointed. I also liked the idea of not having pain behind my ears. If in the future they are made with stretchy loops that tie in the back, I would be happy to buy.

There is nothing wrong with the mask. I would just like to show a picture of what it actually looks like since it’s not mentioned in description and not shown in product photos. The strings are not elastic, they are of soft non-stretchy material, and pretty long, 15.5 inches - see my picture. It just wasn’t what I meant to order. It says that this brand also has ear loop version of the same product, but I couldn’t find it in ASTM level 3 on their Amazon store and search. I wish they had a picture with strings in their full length for clarity.

This is perfect for those that don't want the ear loop masks. Makes it much easier to wear for long duration, like international flights for example

Ties over head and behind neck so hearing aids don't accidentally get pulled off.
