Vax Air Lift 2 Pet Corded Upright Vacuum Cleaner, CDUP-PLXS

Love love love, easy to use sucks hard lifts hair light weight just push it and it goes in that direction pulls up everything in carpet and hair doesn't tangle, 10 blows out of 10 suctions

Great hoover, powerful and easy to use. Great suction on all surfaces and picks up our dogs hair great.

this is my third VAX vacuum, the quality is what you would expect from a company like VAX, robust and easy to maintain, the tools supplied are ok but quality will be a test of time as the brush is already starting to bend a little, it picks up everything and despite the anti hair wrap technology the hair still gets tangled, really long hair not short hair (dog hair 3", wife's 10" long). filters are easy to clean and access is as always simple. i would buy again as cost is reasonable and quality and customer service is great.

Bought as a replacement to the Vax Air Max Pet 2 that has given up the ghost. Old model not in production so got this instead. Very good performance and as good or even better as previous model in removing hair and picks up dusts. Decent weight and use when detached from base. Good suction and seems durable. Easy to use. Fairly priced and value for money when on sale.

I read the reviews and decided to buy this Vax Hoover to replace my Shark hoovef which has gone wrong. The VAX is awkward to maneuver/push there seems to be a lot of resistance. Athough this is a 'Pet' model I find myself constantly cleaning the roller brushes which slide out of the side of the unit which is not easy to do and they feel like they are stuck. The dust container seems to be very small and I am having to empty it frequently, due to poor design pet hair gets balled up and stuck at the top and I have had to pull it out with my fingers! The cord as others mentioned is thin, flat and flimsy I already have a scrape on it where it caught on furniture. Suction isn't great I am finding I have to go over thing 2 or 3 times before it's picked up. Overall very disappointed, I can't return as I had to dispose of the giant packaging box, I've ended up ordering another Shark hoover, my last one lasted 6 years, I can't see the Vax lasting anymore than a year, it will go in the cupboard as a spare.

I bought this to replace an old Vax upright vacuum. If I could have replaced our old model like for like, I would have done - it had great suction was light, easy to manoeuvre, not particularly expensive, and great as either a stand alone vacuum or a companion for a cordless model. This machine is a bit bigger and a little heavier than our old model, but still reasonably light and easy to manoeuvre. It has excellent suction and does a good job of picking up the fine dog hairs our long-haired miniature dachshund sheds abundantly, getting these out of carpet well. The cable is a decent length, and the dust collector is straightforward to empty. What’s not so good is the pipe for getting in to awkward/narrow spaces. This is extremely short and only really useable if you lift the motorised part of the machine off the frame - if you try to use this like the pipe and crevice tool on a regular upright vacuum, just by getting the pipe out with the main part attached to the frame it’s prone to toppling the machine over. Annoying, as the lift-off part is rather cumbersome and this adds faff. The suction is good, but the short pipe and bulky lift-off part mean I would look for a different style of vacuum next time.

Excellent pick up way more than a Henry or any other upright we have used before I would say better than previously used Dysons very quiet lots of accessories and the carpet setting is great with led head lights nice touch could hoover in the dark if you wanted too lol

Good seller,I recommend.
