I bought the 2 pack of these measuring tapes because I liked that they have a soft vinyl case and push retraction feature. The 120" length is much longer than most, so this is handy when measuring a piece of furniture I see & like or if I need to know if something will fit in my SUV, etc. The 60" tapes are big enough for most things, but this was a few cents more and is 10' instead of just 5'. It's a winner for my needs.

I have had a number of retractable spring-loaded measuring tapes over the years. The always stop working because if it is dropped and the case breaks, the spring cannot be repaired. This little beauty has the entire working mechanism fully enclosed in its very lovely, simple, PU pigskin case with a matching tab to pull to release the tape, and you simply squeeze the sides to retract the tape! This is a dandy little design!

Red is my small sewing businesses signature color so when my old tape measure broke I just had to get this red one and I love it so much. It feels good in your hand and functions correctly. I lined it up with several different rulers and it is accurate even though mine came slightly deformed on the first 1/8"marking (probably from sitting weirdly in a warehouse for a long time) but it doesn't hinder my measuring capabilities. I also love that the tape is wider than others which makes the markings very clear and easy to read. I use this little gem every single day and it shows no signs of wear and tear. Also I just love retracting it as it's so quick and simple yet strong and reliable. I totally recommend this tape measure for anyone but especially sewists as it will quickly become your number 1 tool.

I really loved it, and it's so cute!! But I did rip off the end tab today on accident, and it retracted and I can't get it out. I've used it occasionally over the last two years and a few months since my purchase, not excessively. Mostly for Poshmark. I'd say just be gentle with it.

I'm a nurse assessor and have to measure ten feet from my client as well as their height. This tape measure is so easy to use, easy to read, and soft! The stopper/tab on the end is even big enough for me to step on when measuring my client's height, which takes a lot of frustration away from that job! When you pull out the tape, it stops - if you pull the tape out more, it will stop there... once you are finished measuring, simply squeeze the outside of container and the tape automatically rolls itself right up in the container! Reminds me of the metal tool-type tape measures my husband uses in the machine shed. I am going to order another one to use in my she-shed for the crafts I make! It will be perfect to use with material!!
