Review: Good high-quality kettle - This is a nice high-quality stove top kettle. We have used it several times a day for over 2 months now. It has a nice finish. It’s easy to use. Easy to fill and easy to clean. It has a good whistle. It boils quickly on an induction stove. I also find it a very attractive addition to the kitchen. It looks great sitting on top of the range top even when not in use. I read reviews before purchasing and there were some negatives. From what I see all the issues are from misuse of the kettle and not the kettle itself. If you’re using this on an induction range, most of those problems can never happen. All the reports of the handle or the whistle melting or falling out is because the kettle is being used on a burner that is too large. If you’re using gas or electric range, you need to use it on a small burner. If the burner is much larger than 6 inches in diameter, the heat will naturally rise up and overheat and can melt the plastic handle and the whistle assembly. Some people complained the whistle wasn’t loud enough. My hearing isn’t the best, but I can easily hear the whistle. I suppose if you have severe hearing loss or you’re in the remote corner of your 20 room mansion, you might not hear the whistle. I think most people will hear the whistle just fine if they’re in the room or the next room over, etc… Review: Beautiful color and solid, well-made construction - This teakettle is exactly what I was hoping for. The color is beautiful in person and the enamel looks high-quality. It feels solid and well-constructed without being too heavy, and it heats quickly with a clear, loud whistle. Overall, a great piece that looks nice on the stove and works just as well as it’s advertised. ## Features - PERFORMS BEAUTIFULLY: Stylish, enamel on steel teakettle provides long-lasting durability with a stain-resistant exterior that looks and performs beautifully for years of hot beverage enjoyment - INDUCTION READY BASE: Boil water quickly with a high-performance kettle base that can be used on any cooktop, including induction - FLIP-UP SPOUT: Whistling tea pot is equipped with a convenient flip-up spout to let you know when the water is piping hot and ready for easy, spill-free pouring - READY TO BREW: Built in whistle lets you know when the water is boiling.
