So far, impressed, works as it should, distances match my GPS - UPDATED Aug 2021
Updating after 10 rounds. No brainer, this thing works perfect. Highly recommend. Everything you'd expect to work works. I have no idea what EXTRAs come from a $500 range finder, but this one is great. I have a Garmin GPS and the yardages all match up. The Vibration sensor for Flag lock works perfect. The slope (which I have never used before) works great, and actually has helped me shoot better. I have 2 of by best rounds in 10 years since buying this. (Yes, of course its not all due to the laser, but its not hurting). For sub $100, I don't know why you would buy anything else. Case is nice. The magnetic holder is nice. Only thing, I would recommend, carrying a extra set of batteries. just in case. I am 10 rounds in, over 2 months, and have not had it die yet. What else is one looking for? A fancier brand? No one cares. I would buy again. 5 ***** Beach and Golf Bum Original Review------------------ 1 round in the book, got 4 more this week so I will update. Unit looks great, easy to set up. Definitely spend 1 minute on the instruction so you can get it set for golf, as it also has a hunting function. I've never used the slope function, and that definitely made a difference in my game. I didn't realize how much a little slope can make a difference in over all distance, so that was fun. Pin lock was pretty easy, and I had a GPS, and distances were within 1 yard. Like any laser finder I also shoot the pin 2x, sometimes I am hitting a tree, but the pin lock worked great. I can't believe how cheap this is, it looks exactly like any higher end one and so far works the same. Save yourself a bunch of $$. I will report back after the next few rounds. and it automatically turns off after 30 secs which is nice.

Same as a $300 unit
Accurate I compared to a $300 Garman all features on both and just as accurate for a third of the price. I love it.

works, feels cheap because it's light weight
Overall, for most weekend golf amateurs, it's good enough. I had an old smaller nikon optical range finder but felt heavier, and fit in the hand more easily. This one is a little bulkier, but it has a thumb rest at the bottom and for having smaller hands, the buttons are easily useable. The plastic itself feels light and cheap almost like it was 3d printed, but it's not. The battery cover (2 AAA batteries) is at the bottom and looks very thin and not gasketed to prevent water seepage. So this device i'd say is not for rainy days. My older one was more weather proof. But if you live in primarily good weather area, this will do the job at half/third of the price of the name brand ones. It does have a large magnet to stick it on your golf cart they claim, but even so, i wouldn't want to waste 100 bucks if it falls off lol. I don't think the magnet was needed. It does come with a case, wrist strap and cloth which is nice, sort of reminds me of the bushnell sizes and cases. I think my old scope was always in focus i thought, this one you turn a dial around the rear lens to focus the flag or target. Mine is the one with 3 modes, M1 basic distance, you just hit the back button and it measures where you put the cross hairs on. If you hold the back button down in M1 mode, it changes to scan, so not sure if doesn't give a distance till it sees the flag so not sure what this mode actually does. So if you hit the front button once, you change mode to M2, which i think is slope mode, adds or subtracts based on angle. Haven't used this slope feature so not sure how accurate it is in this mode. hit front button again to go to mode 3. M3 is interesting, it's a speed detector? Not sure how big the beam is or how accurate this is to measure speed as i haven't used it for that yet either. On mine, there is a button on the side that is to show that you have slope calculating on (red light on) or off, i guess to keep it within golf regulations for tournaments. I just leave it on as i play with friends only. Overall, i like it. It seems to detect pretty decently quick enough. There is enough youtube videos you can watch for accuracy. Will post if it breaks prematurely, which is likely in these low cost products.

Good quality, exceptional value.
I have owned this for two and a half years now. It has proven to be an exceptional value. It works flawlessly, and outperforms my previous $270 range finder. It has already paid for itself!

Decent quality and excellent accuracy for a value price
This range finder is just as accurate and works very close to as good as my playing buddy's $300+ Bushnell. Doesn't have as many features and only gets about 250 yards but very clear and gets you your yardage plus slope with magnetic mount for more than half the cost of the big name brands. I've been using it for a few months now and working like the first use. I did unfortunately lose the original one just got the replacement hopefully I can remember to put the damn thing back in my bag smh but it hurts a lot less losing a $100 product compared to losing a $300 one. I highly recommend this if your just looking for accurate yardages and can live without all the fancy $200+ finders

Pleasantly Surprised.
Been looking at rangefinders for about a month trying to decide if getting one would really be an asset to my golf game. Considered getting a $200 one but that seemed like an unreasonable risk if I ended up not liking it or finding out it doesn't help my game. Found this one and decided I could do $90 and not feel bad if it was something I didn't end up liking/using. It's had great reviews so far so i went for it. Really wasn't expecting much out of a $90 golf-rangefinder, but I've been pleasantly surprised with this product! For the price and function, you cannot beat it. Slope function works great, target accuracy is spot on, and the fact that it runs on AAA's is just a bonus (CR2's are pricey for a battery, but AAAs are cheap as dirt). Magnification is more than sufficient and very clear (adjust clarity by turning eyepiece); unless you've got it set up on a tripod, getting a good read on something beyond 150 is always going to be a little tricky, doesn't matter what rangefinder/brand you're using. My only unknown right now is the durability of it, but it does have a 12-month warranty on it so really no matter how you look at it this is totally worth a shot. (UPDATE: had it for a year, no issues. Still havenโt upgraded becuz this things has been GREAT!) My suggestion if you're thinking about getting a rangefinder to help with golf: Get this one. For $90 its a chance to see if it really helps your game, and it functions well enough to really help you make a decision. This has really helped my game more than I expected and I didn't have to break the bank to do it. GREAT product! Totally worth trying it out. A golf rangefinder that works THIS well at THIS price range: you can't go wrong! (3rd-year update: still going strong, and havenโt replaced it!)

Donโt last 2 years
I bought this less than two years ago and I was on a trip this weekend and it randomly stopped working. I changed out the batteries and it wonโt turn back on. I really liked the range finder but am very disappointed it stopped working so soon.
