Review: A good army boot for women - Perfect for army training! Got the 8s and they were slightly too small, but then got the 8w and they fit like a glove. I wore good socks and between those, I had NO BLISTERS over my entire training. Not sure if it was the socks or the boots, but they got 'er done. They're also surprisingly comfortable, more comfortable than some of my running shoes. I recommend these to all of the other women in my program as there are very few other brands that specifically have women's OCPs in regs. Dried quickly when wet and it took a lot for my socks to get wet too. Will purchase again when these current ones wear out. Been wearing them for around 2 years and only flaw is some wear on the top stitching where it rubs against the laces, but for this long and this heavy use, I would call that good. *BONUS* Instead of returning my original 8s, gave them to my mom and she absolutely loves to hike in them. She runs marathons so has ~opinions~ about shoes, and honestly that's the best endorsement I can give.

Perfect for army training! Got the 8s and they were slightly too small, but then got the 8w and they fit like a glove. I wore good socks and between those, I had NO BLISTERS over my entire training. I work at a hospital and am constantly running from building to building. These boots are light but durable. I am typically a 7.5 regular width, but I sized up to an 8 wide in these because they seem to run a bit small and I like to put in insoles (shout out to Dr Scholls). So far after about a week of wearing them my feet are happy. Break in time was minimal but they do make crunching sounds from the canvas that I believe will dissipate as I continue to wear them.
