The Wonderful Wizard of Oz: A BabyLit® Colors Primer (BabyLit Classics)

These classes stories are perfect for toddler age. My granddaughter loves the series!

Baby lit books are our all time favorite books! They are small books, but that does not underestimate the goodness inside. We have ordered just about all of the baby lit books and love to swap them out during seasons and holidays. I also love that they have different primers and different types of learning for your little one. These books are great gift ideas, there are a lot of genres to choose from. The artwork and colors are bright and vivid, very pleasant to look at. The mommy and the teacher in me loves and approves these books!

BabyLit PRIMERS are primers. Presumably BabyLit Story Books are story books. This is a primer which is meant to teach. This focus is on colors such as red, silver, tan, purple, black, etc. It creatively embeds elements of The Wizard of Oz without trying to tell the story. This book is styled to group things from the novel that are the same color like the red apples of the trees and the red poppies. Again it has elements of the original story without attempting at all to tell a baby friendly version. Each 2 page spread focuses on one color. I love these! They are exactly what I expected. The only issue with this one for me is that tan has a lot of tan and purple so it's not clear.

We love this book. Love taking something our daughter loves and teaching colors with it!

I don't like that there is a lot of red all over the other color pages. But otherwise good! Also my pages were stuck together when I received it so for a minute it looked like there was no "blue" and that Dorothy wasn't featured. Haha

We love all the books in this collection. This is a great primer for little ones and the illustrations are so he catching. My son loves reading this to his younger brother and it easily keeps both of their attention.

I gave this as a gift to my niece and she LOVES it. It's simple yet very captivating, and has held up very well in the hands of a 2 1/2 year old.

Enjoyed reading to grands

Just brilliant and unique early learning books. Plus they help introduce your young one to the classics from a very early age! The Wizard of Oz book is beautiful and I would highly recommend it.

My two year old loves this book, especially the witch! Lots of pictures to talk about with my toddler

This book has pictures of WOO characters sorted by color. So, it's more a color learning book, with no story at all. So, for smallest children the WOO characters don't make a lot of sense by themselves, and for older children there is also nothing. Didn't find it engaging.

Estos libros son un encanto. Hay que entender que todos no son como libros tradicionales. Este trata de enseñar colores a los pequeños de una forma original. Es importante reconocer que eso es su fín, y no contar la historia. Obviamente como consigue dicho objetivo es con elementos del argumento del Mago de Oz. Las ilustraciones son ideales y a mi hija de un año le encanta.
