Delicious smell.
This is a very acceptable replacement for fresh leaves I soak a few of thes leaves along side my dried galangal for about 30mins. before using the adding to my Tom Kha - lovely and aromatic although I am considering buying a kaffir lime plant in the spring.

I only used to buy the jar kaffiir limes from supermarket, never again ,when I opened the bag the smell was incredible , fresh and the taste far superior
