**Q: What is the maximum length this extends to? I have seen it advertised on other sites at 75” max.**
A: Hello! The Rightline Gear Adjustable Cargo Bar measures 43"-75" in length.

**Q: Will this work with the Subaru forester outback?**
A: I say it probably would, it is adjustable, and if it would not work, then you can just send it back. Very good load bar. I use it in my semi truck for a hanger to hang. My clothes up works excellent for me.

**Q: Is there a place to add a lock, to lock it in place?**

**Q: If I cut the outer pipe , can I make the unit shorter**

This load bar works well enough that I bought another one for my truck! It’s easy to use and will hold plenty of weight from sliding in the bed of a truck! They seem to stay in place with no issue as long as you make sure to secure them tight enough.
