Review: Excellent swim vest for young kids! - This swim vest has been one of my favorite purchases for the pool. I love that it combines a secure vest with shoulder straps and attached arm floaties, it feels much safer than standard floaties and helps keep my child upright and confident in the water. The floatability is excellent, giving my child the support they need while still allowing plenty of mobility to swim, splash, and play comfortably. The 3-button safety buckle is sturdy and secure, which gives me extra peace of mind. It's lightweight, easy to pack, and portable enough to take to the pool, beach, or on vacation. The quality is fantastic, especially for the price, making it an excellent value for money. The only minor downside is that the straps don't tighten quite enough for my very petite 5-year-old (34 lbs with a very small frame), so I wish it had a little more adjustability. Other than that, I absolutely love it. It's comfortable, well-made, suitable for kids, and gives me such a huge sigh of relief knowing my child has extra support in the water. I would definitely recommend it to other parents!

A: My grandson is 53 lbs. he floats if he leans back. This jacket is pretty awesome overall. Does great for him

A: This is great for a toddler that does not know how to swim and those that are working on learning because it keeps them out of the water just enough to learn how to paddle their arms and kick their legs. It encourages them to hold their head up. It does not restrain their arms too much. My son has pretty much full range of motion which is great for a learning swimmer.
