Within about a week to 10 days of taking this product, I noticed a steadier level of energy. Over the last few years, I normally would start "crashing" from 11am on, and would have to rest/nap in the early afternoon. I am 67, and began to think that afternoon naps were the new norm, but it was both frustrating and depressing, to say the least. I have always been someone who is always busy and on the go, so my low energy was concerning. I have taken other products that address oxidative stress, but the research on PQQ and how it addresses mitochondria damage and decay struck a chord in me. After taking this product, I noticed that my energy kept a steady level throughout the day and I didn't get that overwhelming feeling of needing a nap. By evening, I was definitely tired, but have been going to sleep by 10pm each night and have been sleeping thru the night for 7-8 hours. I have to attribute this change to this product, and do notice the difference if I miss a day. I do take this product along with another COQ10, ginkgo biloba, and resveratrol product that enhances my mental clarity but doesn't increase my energy. Fatigue can have many causes, but if you can't pinpoint the cause, this product is worth trying to see if it makes a difference for you. I have recommended this product to a friend and am anxious to see how she does with it. Yes, I would definitely recommend trying this product. I have some serious, chronic illnesses that impacts mitochondrial function. Like no energy to get out of bed to hit the toilet severity. I've tried everything and generally the reaction is nothing to bad on most supplements. So I was very surprised that this one worked. More energy, better sleep. Hit me on the first dose and seems to be holding up but I've read this is a good supplement to cycle (due to diminishing returns if taken too much/too long). I can also definitely see how it would trigger anxiety in some people, so if you react strongly to stimulants or already have problems with anxiety, this is probably not a good thing for you to take. The reason I gave it four stars is because it also triggered a 24/7 headache and gut disturbances. Not sure if it's the brand or the product, but since I have reactions to lots of fun stuff that goes into pills, there's a good chance it is not the product. Might also be the dose - 20mg is on the high end and I didn't realize it was a capsule not a tablet.

PQQ is a daily essential for me. It gives me more energy, and I really miss it if I forget to take it. A lot of people go- well, what’s PQQ? It helps your mitochondrial energy, and so it makes sense that I feel more energy from it. I learned about it from a Facebook group called the Cusack Protocol, which was a supplement regimen created to help others with Ehlers-Danlos symptoms. It’s suggested to start with a probiotic to help your gut be able to absorb the supplement, and then add the PQQ- and when I did that, my symptoms did improve. I will take what I can get- an 8-9% increase in my energy level is a huge deal to me. This brand has been great to me and is clean, and an easy small pill to take. It works for me.

I have been under the care of a cardiologist for the past 5 years and had a recent stent installed. So when the cardiologist put me on a statin and ubiquinol CoQ10, and then recommended this product to help with ubiquinol uptake, I listened and also did research. I'd never heard of it before. Most people don't realize it but statins wipe out CoQ10 in your system along with reducing your cholesterol levels. This can lead to many heart related issues, not the least of which is a heart attack. You must replace the CoQ10 in your body, which is far easier said than done. Unfortunately, many cardiologists simply don't talk with their patients about it, as medical schools rarely teach their young doctors about the advantages of non-prescription supplements. Since they don't talk about the CoQ10, they neither talk about which version of it to use. As it turns out, younger people can absorb the cheaper version, but once you hit age 50ish, that slows down. It is at this point that you should switch over to ubiquinol CoQ10 that absorbs better. But even then, absorption is limited. PQQ helps with that and should be taken whenever you take your ubiquinol CoQ10. This however, was just the first reason for taking PQQ. Mitochondria biogenesis basically means that your body is creating new mitochondria. You can find out far more than I can write with a few Google lookups, but in summary, mitochondria are responsible for energy conversion in your body and they are found in many organs such as the liver and heart. They mutate over time and this contributes to loss of energy and function, essentially known as aging. Nobody is suggesting that PQQ is the fountain of youth, turn back the clock, or restore hair or hair color. However, increasing your body's production of mitochondria is currently one of the holy grails of anti-aging and can help to prevent further damage, add overall energy to your daily living, and perhaps slow down the aging process. For me, I wasn't expecting much other than what the doctor said about the ubiquinol CoQ10 uptake, so I really don't think it's any kind of placebo effect. However, I've found a significant increase in overall energy, and so far a 10# weight loss without changing anything else.

PQQ is an essential Vitamin for optimal health. Here I got bio pqq and it is very good in bioavailability. I got good improvement in my energy levels after using for a few days. Say 3 days. But much greater benefits come after using for about 3 months. Even now only after using for one week I feel more energetic and good sleep.
