I bought this to replace the power trim switch on my Mercury outboard. The newer switches aren't waterproof and kept failing on me. This one is waterproof and fits perfectly in the existing switch location on the 150 mercury. Hopefully it last much longer than the OEM switch. I've replaced too many of those an $100 a pop.

This is a great item and I got into work but a wiring diagram would have helped...I thought it alluminated and it does not.

Worked perfectly as a replacement switch in my Volvo. I hardwired it as my electrical array on the passenger door side is faulty.

I may have a factory reject that skipped past the Quality Control, but this is terrible. I ordered it as it was the only one with next-day delivery and I needed it quick. Big mistake, I should have reordered the same brand and model (ASIN B0CD1Y46FD) as I had before -- and have now, since done. This faulty one worked fine in one direction, but the other direction would not click or contact at all. I cut the rubber boot off and that allowed it to go all the way down and it worked. But it was gritty and needed extra effort on the other side to get it to move basck to the center off. For the price paid I cannot be bothered sending it back, but I certainly wonder about all those glowing reviews. For me, a lesson learned, order what you know, even if it takes longer to get here. YMMV.

Great switch bought it for my exhaust cutout in my car. Works as it should. Love it.

Worked good for my reason. I used it as a switch for my ATV plow angle actuator. Add a 10am fuse and now I don't need to get off the ATV every time I want to change the angle of the plow.

Item is well built and is as advertised

Came pre-wired for polarity reversal, which is handy because that's complicated but I needed a straight on-off-on switch, so quick removal of the wire and it was good to go. Standard spade terminals made installation easy. The rubber boot is flexible and should provide some water resistance. Overall good buy.
